As a previous poster said - their cannot be 2 captains to a ship and personally, my wife isn't as submissive as I'd like which is the root of the vast majority of contention in our relationship. She's stubborn and she challenges me. She is fortunate that I detest confrontation almost as much as I detest feminists.
