[s]since you're the only person talking like a human being here, I'll indulge you.

That road you uploaded is a federal, yes but it was tarred by the state.

Even the fg admitted that it has not tarred any road in the SE.

I don't know much about FDI neither do you but you trying to pontificate on said issue makes me wonder.

Yes, south east development is haphazard but that's cos of rapid unplanned development.

South east governors are now trying to catch up with the individual development of the region

You said deindustralization of east; hope you know nigeria is in recession? Yes, a few companies were hit but that isn't a fault of the people.

Again, osun people are nice people..

But the place is an eyesore.

The greatest lie we tell is the lie we tell ourselves.

You folks are out here lashing cos you know the truth but you're afraid to admit it so you're deflecting...its classic textbook denial[/s]

Akpu/red mud doing wonders in your brain. How can a grown up man wake up by 3am in the morning defecating thrash? I guess an afonja masquerade must have dealt with you so bad when sleeping.

You are typing from village claiming to have visited osogbo meanwhile the press up operation eze ask you to do in mud hence your brain filled with it is making you misbehave.

"Lol only Lagos can be compare to Abia?" - This is the most absurd paradox I have ever heard.

Please my people, make una ignore this troll.
These people are soooooo jealous of Yorubaland, I swear.

All they talk about and think about is how Yorubaland looks.

just that igbos expose what to bad in their environment to raise awareness and get it fixed doesn't mean they're foolish.

The only south west state that can be compared to abia is lagos...

Again, something needs to be done for the entire south west environment
What are you exposing?

Ibos are foolish, let's be honest.

You focus so much on Yorubaland that you leave your land dilapidated.

No Ibo land can measure up to Osun's development.

What is in dirty Abia state?

Is it road infrastructure, industrial hub, tech hub, entertainment hub, real estate development? What is there?

oga, forget pictures.

The people of osun are a beautiful people.

I won't want to insult or belittle them in anyway.

But the environment is not something to even discuss.

I have a few pics I took I would love to upload but they're 8mb too big for nairaland.

The only thing osun and south west has on the south east is GOOD FEDERAL ROADS

So relax my man.
If someone from dirty Abia can call Osun state ugly, I wonder what people are smoking in that country.

Commercial hub
ICT hub
Health and medicine
Urban development
Resorts and tourism

Why is the SE region still underdeveloped even though it's just twice the size of one state [Oyo state] in Yorubaland?

Ikechuob:
Ebola, Lassa fever and other fast killing viruses vaccination was not rejected by the people thus, individuals were vaccinated and individuals immune system used the vaccine to form resistance towards the virus. In addition, till this very day, albeit ebola, lassa fever, swine flu, etc is not as reported as it was in the past but there are still communities world wide where this virus is still a problem as we speak. A perfect example wasn't lassa fever reported a current problem in your northern nigeria few years ago?

Now let's focus on monkey pox which ironically enough was a "growing" problem in SS and SE prior to the refusal of vaccination. Some stated that the virus became rapid after the first vaccination exercise in bayelsa by your human right abuse military but since it's here say, let omit that. Ironically, after the people refused to take the vaccine from your military known for human right abuse, it didn't even take a year, talkless 5 months and the so called "growing problem." stopped despite the people in question didn't change anything.

Yeah either people in SS or SE has a really fast adapting immune system or it's complete B.S.
You're Ibo right? I see the victim complex in you.

Just few days ago, I was reading about Seretse Khama, the former President of Botswana. You need to see how this guy transformed the country through mining and smart economic policies from one of the poorest countries in the world to the fastest growing economy in the world within 20 years.

I tell you bro, fixing Nigeria is no rocket science. We are just cursed with stupid people as leaders. Stupid citizens too are already pushing Buhari and Atiku for 2019.
Sensei Chen, do they really want to fix Nigeria? That's the first and most important question.
If yes..... do they have the brainbox to fix Nigeria?
If yes..... does Nigeria have the resources to fix Nigeria?
If yes..... why aren't we fixing Nigeria?

Lagos emerges overall best state in ICT development

Lagos State Government beat 35 other States of the Federation to emerge as the best overall performing State in ICT Development and also best State in E-Government Implementation in Nigeria. The world class Ikeja Bus Terminal in Lagos State capital Lagos also bagged top awards as the Best State in ICT Infrastructure Development, while it also emerged first runner up in the category for Best State in Human Capital Development.

The Awards were presented at the 5th Regular meeting of the National Council on Communication Technology (NCCT 2017) organised by the Federal Ministry of Communications, which took place in Katsina State, last weekend. In a statement on Tuesday, the State’s Commissioner for Science and Technology, Mr. Olufemi Odubiyi, who received the awards alongside the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Olukayode Ogunnubi, said the awards confirmed the State Government’s commitment to ICT development in Lagos.

He said that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, since assumption of office on May 29, 2015, prioritised ICT development in the State, adding that it has since improved service delivery in major ministries in the State and was transforming Lagos to a digital village. He said the NCCT, which was chaired by the Hon. Minster for Communications, Mr. Adebayo Shittu, gave States the opportunity to showcase ICT activities in their various States, particularly success stories in their application of ICTs in solving governance and development issues.

Odubiyi said the Minister for Communications expressed delight at the committed efforts of the Lagos State Government to the development of ICT not only in the State but in Nigeria as a whole. According to him, the Minister expressed the Federal Government’s readiness to partner with Lagos State to achieve the nation’s vision of rapid transition to a functional digital society as envisioned by Governor Ambode. The Minister for Communications presented the awards to Lagos State and a goodwill message to the Government and people of the State. The NCCT meeting which was hosted by the Governor of Katsina State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Masari at the State Government Secretariat, Katsina, had the theme: “Harnessing ICT As The Main Tool For Driving The Economic Recovery And Growth Plan (ERGP]”.
