Please when is the Nairaland fantasy league starting? I wan partake for this season own o

The biggest problem with Madrid fans is that "una no dey watch La Liga", you guys just watch champions league and even at that, na only Ronaldo una dey watch. I always tell people that without Ronaldo, Madrid would win the Champions League over and over again because this Madrid team is over complete (from goal keeper to defence to attack and bench), and join with the crazy luck that Zidane has. Their midfield is the strongest in the world (forget the extra efforts of Barca midfielders, the moment Xavi left the midfield has not been the same), The defence led by Marcelo and Captain Ramos is the best in the world, their attack without Ronaldo is only bested by Barca and PSG. Ronaldo was only lucky to have played with some of the best players playing at their peaks. His contribution to Madrid's game play is as good as zero, he only runs into the box to score goals and sometimes assist from the wings. He does not work as much as the others work, he only scores. So now because he scores goals, he should be the best. Even Navas has more impact on the pitch because if not for that Navas, Madrid would not win a second CL.

The best player in Madrid is MARCELO, quote me anywhere (there is a reason Ronaldo is pushing for Marcelo to join him at Juventus). Without Marcelo, Madrid does not get to the semi's and Marcelo should be winning the best player for his work rate and input and not even Ronaldo or Ramos. Yes Marcelo makes mistakes but he scored very important goals for Madrid and was/is their driving force in attack. Shut Marcelo and Madrid suffers. I am sure most people shouting here don't watch 50% of Madrid's games in the league because if they do, they would understand Madrid would have won and would win without Ronaldo. That team is too complete and have players playing at their peak, Bale has already covered the void left by Ronaldo already. Ronaldo should appreciate the best forward award he was given, even the best goal should have gone to Bale, they were only trying to compensate him and he should be appreciative.

Every single player in Madrid deserve the award, but in my opinion its between Salah and Marcelo (Salah because Liverpool would have won that final if not for the injury and he had a fantastic season).

Since my people here believe Ronaldo is god... Lets see him win the CL with Juventus.

This is indeed sad, just take it as a lesson learnt the hard way. I have been following the thread silently from page 1. One has to be extra careful when buying on this forum, like some people have suggested earlier "don't buy what is not within your location!!". If you don't and cant see what you want to buy physically, then don't even negotiate for it.

I have negotiated with so many sellers on nairaland (even the legit ones) and when I go to them to see the Item to be sold, it turns out to be something else or not even same product that was advertised. That was how I left Osogbo to pick a TV in Lagos from a legit seller here on nairaland, my people, if una see wetin I see ehn (just that make I no spoil the person business, cos someone else might cherish the same TV and he is legit to many). We have to be very careful when dealing here. As Nigeria be now, money no easy to make these days.

So sorry about the money that's gone, God will provide and replace the one you have lost, but we all have to be very careful. Sellers too have to be considerate also, we see used items here that's almost same price as new and some even more costly than new ones. Thumbs up to sellers that consider buyers and are legit. The thread is for clearance sales but some people don turn am to shop selling at higher prices, I think before buying anything we should first check out the normal price.

Yeah, a quiet observer, me too. The west would surely be tougher than the east which may leave the eventual champs drained going into the finals. Any of Spurs, Warriors and Clippers can make it all the way.
Early days though.

You are so right, and as stated on earlier discussions Warriors were totally drained in last final. The east is a very ride for Cavs and they could afford to keep their players fresh unlike Warriors, it was so obvious that after game 4 of the last final the Warriors players were worn out (tho they did their best) especially Klay Thompson. The suspension to Green is not an excuse but it did affect in the next game and his coming back in games 6 and 7 could not really make much difference (but I still believe if he had played in game 5, it would have been a wrap for Warriors) and to make matters worse, the bench was not up to it in the last 3 matches. With the additions made this season, Warriors would get to the finals (tho wont be an easy ride unlike for Cavs), but I just hope fatigue does not come into play...

The last final was really so tense and energy draining, it was really explosive...

So the EPL is now bigger than UCL? .. SMH
