Following the success and continuity of our FIFA 16 League on the PS4, we have finally launched our League on the Xbox One platform

Hello guys, sometime last year I wrote a post concerning a FIFA16 Online League for PS4. So far so good we have completed Season for Division 1 and Division rounds up in the coming weekend.

A new season will commence in the coming week and we are opening The Registration Link again for anybody who is interested in signing up.

If you are in doubt of what we are doing, please see screenshots below.

Participants have had the opportunity of playing with some fine players from around the world and we are slowly getting recognition. We would love to have you be a part of this wonderful startup Community and help us grow with your love and passion for gaming.

We will be opening Registration for PES16 in the coming month and also for XBOX One users.

Why impose legacy defending on people. I thought online play is Tactical defense based ?

Not all players like Tactical, judging from a survey we did recently, in FIFA16 Online friendlies, players are allowed to choose which style suits them. For those who have signed-up and have been added to the League Community on PSN, they know that they are allowed to communicate with their opponent(s) and agree on what they want. We do not impose anything on the players, but we have strict rules to collecting match results, gameplay has exceptions.

It starts on the 12th of December. Entry to league 1 is already closed, Fixtures are up already. New sign-ups are for League 2.

Bottom 2 players will be relegated from League 1 to 2, while top 2 from League 2 will be promoted to 1.

I am on swift 4g presently with minimum of four connection bars and can hardly get connected to opponents for FUT online games. I do not think this is about your network speed only. i have tried placing my ps4 on DMZ to free up all internet ports to no avail. Yesterday was particularly bad, I did not get a single online game. I tried FIFA 15 for a while back when it was released and did not have this problem. This is why I left PES in the first place now am regretting it.

That's surprising because i don't have any problem connecting to an opponent on 4G. Especially in FUT, two things you can try tho;

1. Log into your swift router, go to security and turn off your firewall.

2. In you fifa homepage, go to CUSTOMIZE, go to ONLINE SETTINGS, open your EA account, if you have your country set to Nigeria, I'll suggest you change or to US or UK

I don't have connectivity issues. I enjoy my gameplay. The only time you have connectivity issue is when you have a NAT Type 3, which is very common when you're using a GSM network (MTN, GLO, AIRTEL or ETISALAT) for internet. Try Swift, Smile or preferably Spectranet.

Compliments of the season to you all.

We are currently putting together a FIFA16 Online League competition for PS4 users, XBOX ONE and PC will come up soon. We would love to see you participate in the Online League if you can.

Entry to the League is free as we are currently putting the League community together.

The idea is for you to sit in the comfort of your home and contest against other gamers in Nigeria.

Registration link is included at the end of this post. Please take your time to go through the rules before showing your interest.

What are the rules for the League?

-Half lengths must be set to 6 minutes
-Game speed must be set to Normal
-Home player in the fixture sends the invite.
-Do not quit the game before the menu appears. Be a good sport and wait for the menu to quit.
-In the event of lag, you must request a mutual quit before the 20 minute in-game mark and explain to your opponent that you’ve got lag. If
you play past that point, you are assumed happy with the connection.
-If for any reason someone quits without informing you, please report this with a screenshot.
-Games must be set to online squads to prevent any editing.
-Controller settings should be set to any.
-All players must use Legacy Defending.
-Players are allowed to use any team (even if their opponent is using the same team)
-Time wasting or keeping the ball in your defense for longer than 3 minutes in-game time will not be tolerated, participants who wish to make
a report on time wasting should make use of the gameplay recording. Send us a video clip of your opponent wasting time.
-Time wasting will result in a deduction of 1 Point from accumulated league points.
-Only players with good internet and preferably NAT Type 2 please, as we urge all participants not to enter a match session if Latency is less
than 2 bars or if Latency fluctuates.

How many games are to be played every weekend?

-Participants are to play two games ever weekend.


How do I know who and when to play?

Upon signing up with your PSN ID, you will be added to the Leagues Community where the fixtures will be uploaded and participants will be notified by admin. You will also be provided with an Android and iPhone app to stay updated with league standings, fixtures and league news and information.


When do we play our games?

Games are scheduled for weekends only. If a match cannot be played in a scheduled weekend, participants must communicate via the in-game message app after adding your opponent as a friend and agree on a match date, after which your report your scores to the community for verification with EA Match Data.


What if I don't play my games?

You will stand to lose points to your opponent(s) or possibly removed from the league.


How many times do we play each other a season?

You will play each other twice a season (Home and Away).

How do I report match results?

Match results will be reported in the League community by the winner or both parties, after-which we verify with EA Match Data.

Thanks for inviting me to this thread. I have read your thoughts on the FIFA16 and comments that followed. I started playing the FIFA16 before it's launch thanks to EA Access.

If you play FIFA well and you also play FIFA Ultimate Team, u'll know it's not easy to build a squad, not to now consider building the Nigerian swuad with the available NigeriN players in the game and using them to take on other players online around the world for 100 matches.

The Nigerian Soccer National team otherwise known as the Super Eagles have not featured in any EA Sports Title in a few years now, and when they do, ratings are always quite low except for one or two players who are just slightly above average in the game.

Personally, I have missed seeing them in the FIFA title. I'm a gamer and a lover of soccer and Nigerian football. Many peopla have lost hope in watching the Eagles play, I haven't...even when they don't perform well or I get frustrated, I still love to watch the boys in Green and White jersey on the pitch.

Many of your gamers or readers may be familiar withe the FIFA 16 title and the ever engaging game mode known as FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team).
A game mode where you build your squad as you progress, earn coins, open player cards, trade jerseys, stadium, train and upgrade your players etc. The game mode is more engaging than the regular career mode.

I have decided to build a new squad around my current FUT Squad. I am currently collecting the Nigerian Players available in the current FIFA 16 title to build the Super Eagles and use them to compete other FIFA Ultimate Teams players around the world online.

So far so good, I have collected a few of players as coins aren't easy to acquire in the current FUT title, especially because EA Sports is trying to deflate the FUT market because of coin movers and traders.

The only way you can get the Nigerian team is to play Ultimate Team and Build the squad yourself.

We are currently located in Arepo, Ogun State and recently held our first ever FIFA 16 competition which took place in Garden Park & Hotels Arepo.

Most of you have either played or own the new FIFA 16 title, and we know many people have their different opinions about the game. Which is why we have created a survey so as to collect data on the FIFA 16 title and send to EA SPORTS. Nigeria and Africa as a whole has been sidelined for too long as many of us who play online use foreign addresses to signup, enter online events, have difficulties with connections and so on. We have decided to take a step to let EA SPORTS know that there are gamers in this region and we want to be heard and be treated equally.
