from your screenshot click on “Local” on the top right.... then you can access your songs and set anyone you like as ringtone

is there a particular folder I'm to put the songs cos this is how my "Local" looks like:

seunlayi: it is a most that you root your fine. go to settings -audio and select a song. you can also do so thru d default music player. by selecting use media for .......

I've done that, went settings>audio profile but no option to select my own song as ringtone plus my media player has no equalizer. am so confused about the functions of the done. even when I try to use song thru media player as ringtone, it doesn't change. pls some1 help me.

pls how do I use my own songs as ringtone in gionee p2. and pls some1 explain to me the advantages and disadvantages of rooting my p2.
