I have no problem bringing in a defender but after seeing how useless we were in the attcking third last season, I believe the main priority should have been that we sign up at least 2 creative personel to ease the burden from saka and ESR, but sadly the manager prefers to massage his ego than doing what is right.

You don’t understand that in football u have to play to coach’s instruction. From day one Arteta has shown he’s a coach that likes to build up play from the back even when he doesn’t have the right set of players to prosecute this .

Leno is under the instruction to play from the back , if he decides to act otherwise he will get an earful from the coach after the game.

I once played amateur football and I understand coaches dislike players who don’t play to instruction. I’ve seen good players relegated to the bench due to this.

A good caoch should play to the player strengths and not their weakness, it was so obvious that passing out from the back was one of Leno weakness

Xhaka is staying, even Elneny will wound down his contract as there are no suitors, Willock has suitors but the club wants to keep him as they can't buy a replacement, Torriera is the most likely to leave but he will have to leave for chicken money. Forget Aoaur, or Maddison. Even Odegaard will have to come on loan or remain with Madrid. Madrid wants to sell for as low as 40m, but Arsenal does not want to buy, he has big salary.
