In Kogi, i dont think 9e can be gotten with a 1m dish. I may have to test with a motorised 3.2m dish.

I asked some questions earlier but have not gotten answers. If I see some good fta HD channels, I might resume my fta hunt.

FTA is still not cheap, if its only the hustle of tracking and re-tracking over and over again is not cheap, or changing on Chinese decoder to another or lnb and hustle for software the stress nor be here, either way one is still paying one way or the other

Ways of paying for FTA

1- purchase of hardware
(decoder dish lnb)

2- hustle for software sometimes purchase

3- any launch of new satellite attract FTA enthusiast after few months the encrypt the satellite and produce their various decoder for paytv
(the providers use FTA enthusiast to market the new platform)

4- the number of times you track and re track, remember time is money, not to talk of the stress involve

so technically we can not say FTA is cheap, we are still paying one way or the other

Another is picture quality. I lost interest in fta because of the poor picture quality of most channels especially multi TV channels, etc

The only best bet on fta is a big ugly dish larger than most compounds can accommodate like a 4m dish and in most cases can only be enjoyed through cccam account.

Still following this thread anyway if something new comes up.

I have abandoned FTA and its associated risk of always climbing roof top, buying various chinese decoders, seeking softwares and others.
