Dont be daft.... Ruling a state is not the same as ruling a country.

But at the end of the day, age shouldnt be an issue...... Competency, leadership and experience should be key

Thank you for that explanation. All you said is right. Nigerians were created by God and he will not let them down. we have been in a situation more dangerous than now during military regime and we all survived it and many people keep on keeping on. Some white peolple still leave their country and working, living comfortable in Nigeria.

Kokolobi, leaving Nigeria exposes people to various global opportunities available globally. Several years ago, i got a stable job and refused to go for a masters in engineering abroad and that is a mistake that has hunts me till date. My classmates whose parents had vision pushed them to go and acquire knowledge first and come back later for money . Some went as far as getting Phd's in various fields of engineering. To me then, it looked like they were foolish but today i feel i am at the silly one. Some got jobs excellent jobs in global corporations round the world. Some of them earn crazy salaries today . They are both rich and fulfilled and leading in their various fields of endeavor. Have you tried looking for a top class job where you realize that your competitors for the same job have attended various conferences, training globally and you have one Nigeria Certificate in your bag hoping to get the job. I realized that one mistake people can make is limiting your world view to Nigeria. It is one of the worst thing that can happen to any young man. Look at most people in Nigerian government you will see that the key ones are those who have western worldview and education. For you to see global opportunities you must immerse yourself in a global competitive environment and get yourself to compete with the best. Nigeria has a way of stagnating one if you are not careful. Have you lost your Job in Nigeria and tried getting one again . It is very difficult because the opportunities are not very limited.
I respect the way you analysed the matter and make it inform of education and for my believe is the reason why we are here . Honestly, you are correct. There are much advantages studying abroad but having intention to live there entirely is out of my intention except otherwise.

fellow, you are fighting for nothing. I only said if i am in her shoes and that closes the issue, i dont know why you people dont understand my statement. Every body have different life style and we cant be the same. What am saying is if i can have this type of job that can give me all this millions she the talk, i for just go collect the pr and return back to my job simple.

That place is not heaven as you guys might think. I wish to train my children where i can mean something to them. I dont know why some people take this matter personal.
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by kokobi99: 11:54am On Jan 15, 2015
All this children am hearing while not train them where they can know you, marry good wife and husband as case may be instead of training them for their govt. Or you never know that your child will belong to govt not you proper
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by kokobi99: 11:48am On Jan 15, 2015
Both of you are correct but i will still maintain my word, if i am in her shoes with all this millions am hearing i will not think of leaving this sweet country. I also want to travel because i dont have job if not, i cant go to a foreign land and start life afresh. How many years remaining for me on earth. I have seen people who won american visa and still ignore it that they are better off in Nigeria. In your university count how many lecture you have, most of them studied abroad but they are living in Nigeria, you didnt ask them why because you want quality education for your children while some even have children in abroad and bring them back to Nigeria for quality training. Even if i eventually travel, its for temporary though.

You can say that again! We sold my husband's car 2 days back for a low price...but hey!, we have no choice...better ones will come.

Imagine someone pricing a 2007 Toyota Hiace bus bought just 2 yrs ago, and in very good condition, for 1.2m....like seriously...people are wicked. Thats way lesser than half of the original price o!

Now to sell things like our LCDs, Air Cons, Home Theatre....I'm already fearing the nonsense pricing people will price them. I taya!
with all this riches still want to leave them and relocate to Australia. If i am in your shoes, i will go to australia collect the pr and return back to my base. I heard that the grass is not that green over there.

Oh thats true, I missed that part. Being equated to an associate degree is very possible, especially from a state school. My Bachelors was equated to an Aus Bachelors though. Did you finish with a first class? Do you have a masters degree?
No, 2:2 3.1, did you study in a state university, course duration, is your course highly relevant to your nominated occupation. Just want to have a critical look to know my chances.
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by kokobi99: 12:07pm On Nov 24, 2014
Thanks for your reply. I am skeptical as my degree is not relevant but has up to 3 years experience, as this occupation requires degree or higher and am afraid that my degree may be judged as associate degree as it happened to other people. Further advice is welcome please
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by kokobi99: 3:35am On Nov 23, 2014
