PoliticsRe: Rev Fr. Mbaka Says Pro Biafra Protests Is ‘evil’ by Koleman(m): 9:59pm On Nov 14, 2015
De painful and wicked truth is dat biafra protest is just a fall-out from the result of last election! I can swear on my life that if Gej had won there would not had been anything like biafra protest! They still cannot believe an incumbent lost an election. They were so so sure it was gonna be Gej till 2019. Really i share your pain. But majority of Nigerians had their say.

Your so-called wailers already saw it coming ,my sincere condolence goes to your kind that are still waiting for the monthly 5k stipend which still won't solve your endemic poverty and your inbred parasitic nature, that is if it ever comes. grin grin

kontinu........Hungry awaits you and your kind for the next four years. grin
i wonder wat you are quoting! Clearly everyone can see there is only one hungry person here.
PoliticsRe: FG Spends N5.8bn On Presidential Jets In Six Months by Koleman(m):
I hope you wailers are prepared to do this for the Next 4yrs? And do people even real at all. That post is not saying the president spent money on buying new air planes or incurring any extra expenses. Pls read out de first sentence. It is only spending that money to maintain the air planes bought by the previous administration. Maybe you still dont understand. Let me use a simple example to illustrate. "IF YOUr FATHER RENTS A DUPLEX FOR YOU AND Suddenly dies towards de expiration of the rent, when the time for payment comes, i wonder who is going to pay the rent? Now you have two choices, first choice is you bear the huge cost and pay the rent. Second option you agree the cost is to much and so you relocate to much more cheaper and affordable house. Now if am not mistaken one of the few promises made by buhari upon assumption of office is to sell some of the air planes so as to minimize cost. Now what i expect any rational mind to do is concentrate on reminding him of that promise! Now has baba forgotten?

PoliticsRead How Labour Minister Ngige Plans To Provide Jobs For Nigerians by Koleman(op): 8:49pm On Nov 12, 2015
Chris Ngige has been an activist throughout his
days in the public service. This probably
justifies his recent appointment as minister of
Labour and Employment
.
.
.
Ngige who was the South East Zonal coordinator
of President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2015
presidential campaign team, joined 35 other
ministers to be inaugurated yesterday,
November 11, in the council chambers of the
Presidential Villa.
.
.
.
However, the road to ministry of Labour and
Unemployment wasn’t as difficult as many
predicted it will be for Ngige.
The former governor of Anambra after
introducing himself and making his former
colleagues laugh at the Senate was asked to
take a bow and go during the ministerial
screening exercise
.
.
.
Shortly after his inauguration, Ngige swung
immediately into action, when he arrived the
ministry of Labour and employment yesterday.
While addressing management and staff of the
Ministry on his assumption of duty, Ngige
assured Nigerians of the readiness of the
ministry to tackle the menace of unemployment
in the country.
.
.
.
Naij.com brings you five key promises the
newly appointed Labour and employment
minister made at resumption of duty.
.
.
.
1. “Under my leadership, the ministry of labour
and employment would work in partnership with
the private sector to generate jobs through
developmental focused labour laws.”
.
.
.
2. “We will be at the fore front of the battle to
stop the scourge of unemployment in the
country.”
.
.
.
3. “We must as a people put on our thinking
caps so that we can chart the way forward for
employment generation.”
.
.
.
4. “We are the catalysts, the change agent of
the change era.”
.
.
.
5. “If we block leakages in our system, the
country will be better because resources will be
made available for economic growth of the
nation.”
.
.
.
The Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment
has been in existence (with different names)
since 1939.
After Independence in 1960, the Ministry has
grown steadily, renamed the Federal Ministry of
Employment Labor and Productivity in 1979 and
the Ministry of Labour in January 2007.

PoliticsWe Have Five Strong Evidences Against Ex-governor Ohakim – EFCC Tells Court by Koleman(op): 8:38pm On Nov 12, 2015
A prosecution witness has told Justice Adeniyi
Ademola of the Federal High Court, Abuja that the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,
received over five petitions against former Imo
State governor, Ohakim Ikedi, who was arraigned on
Wednesday, July 8, 2015 on a three-count charge
bordering on money laundering.
.
.
.
Ohakim is alleged to have made a cash payment of
$2, 290,000.00(Two Million, Two Hundred and
Ninety Thousand Dollars), for a piece of land at Plot
No. 1098 Cadastral Zone A04, Asokoro District,
otherwise known as No. 60, Kwame Nkurumah
Street, Asokoro, Abuja.
.
.
.
While answering a question by the defence counsel,
Awa Kalu, SAN, prosecution witness, Ishaya Dauda,
said the Commission received over five petitions
against the accused person.
Dauda, a Senior Detective Superintendent, SDS,
with the EFCC, also told the court that some of the
petitions against the accused person were received
from the following sources: Alliance of Redemption
and Destiny Organization; Aggrieved Imo State
Citizens; Citizens for Imo Economic Security and 27
people (who are all signatories to a petition) from
each of the 27 local governments in the state.
.
.
.
When asked by the defence counsel if he made any
effort to confirm whether or not the groups were
registered, Dauda said there was no need to do that.
Dauda further told the court, while answering a
question by the defence counsel, that all the
petitions were investigated.
However, when the defence counsel asked for
copies of the petitions in court, the prosecution
witness told the court that the petitions were in the
Commission’s files.
.
.
.
‘‘My Lord, it is important we see the petitions
because the liberty and freedom and of our client is
at stake. Besides, we need to see the petitions so
that we can cross-examine the witness
thoroughly,’’ said the defence counsel.
However, the prosecution counsel, Festus Keyamo,
raised an objection to the request, saying that the
defence counsel had failed to do the proper thing as
required by law.
.
.
.
According to Keyamo, ‘‘My Lord, in a criminal
charge, you cannot ask a witness to present copies
of petitions in court. It is wrong to harass or
ambush a witness to present copies of petitions
against an accused person in court.
.
.
.
“If you really needed them, you should have applied
for them or told me. If you want them and you tell
me, I will bring them.’’
The defence counsel then prayed the court to ask
the prosecution witness to give him copies of the
petitions.
Responding, Keyamo told the court that he would
give copies of the petitions to the defence counsel
within 24 hours.
.
.
.
In his ruling, Justice Ademola said the prosecution
was right in his submission, adding that ‘‘If you (the
defence counsel) needed them, as you do need
them, you would have asked the prosecution to give
them to you.’’
The case was adjourned to December 7, 2015 for
continuation of trial.
