WHO IS FOOLING WHO? 1. Buhari’s death: Africa leaders observe a minute silence at AU Summit. African Union heads of State and Government have observed a minute’s silence in the memory of late Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday during the 28th ordinary session of AU Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. During the official opening session of the AU Summit, Chadian President Idriss Deby Itno, the incumbent AU President, invited the African leaders to observe a minute’s silence in the memory of “our late brother,” the Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari. African leaders have gathered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to attend the Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU). The Summit, which is to take place from 30th to 31st January, will be preceded by a meeting of the Executive Council. 2. Queen Elizabeth II sends message of condolence. LONDON – The Queen of Britain, Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has sent message of condolence to the family of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and the people of Nigeria. There are no official reports on the speculated death of the President and the message of condolence from the British Monarchy has put Nigerians in state of despair. Two sources close to the Presidency have said the President has passed on and that the photos circulating online are those from his previous visit. Another London source says PM Theresa May has visited the Nigeria Ambassador to the UK. In a message of condolence, the Queen described Buhari as “one of Africa’s pillars”. “The death of President Buhari came to us as a shock. He has been one of the active pillars in Africa. May the good people of Nigeria and Africa know that our hearts are with them in these hard times.” – the Queen said. The Presidency days ago denied reports that the President had died and subsequent release of Photos put to rest the rumors but the latest message of condolence from the Queen has brought further confusion whether the Queen has fallen for fake news or the Presidency is lying to the people to Nigeria. |
Election have been postponed to Dec 19 |
As the high court in Ado-Ekiti earlier on
Monday, 14th December 2015 struck out a
case instituted by the Ekiti State Chapter of
the All Progessives Congress APC seeking to
stop the State Independent Electoral
Commission from conducting the much
anticipated local government election in Ekiti
State, joyous PDP faithfuls who had gathered
in the court premises to ascertain their fates
took to the streets of Ado-Ekiti to celebrate
the party’s victory, they were to later
converge on the party's secretariat(Aji losun
area of Ado Ekiti) for the presentation of
party flags to the chairmanship candidates,
an event expected to be performed by the
state governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose.
It was a rousing welcome for the Ekiti State
Governor, Ayodele Fayose as party
enthusiasts showered praises on him as he
arrived the secretariat, the governor
acknowledged cheers from the faithfuls,
exchanged banters with the party leaders
and proceeded to address his people.
Excerpts:
"The reason I believe we should conduct a
local government election is because we
must move away from dictatorship and anti
democratic norms. The moment we
continue to put caretaker then we are telling
the whole world there is no need for
democracy and I therefore enjoin all other
states, all other democratic minds to do
what is right by conducting local
government elections.
I want to assure you that we will not
conduct inconclusive election, we'll not
change our candidates midway. We'll go
beyond selfishness and selfish interests,
we'll remember that Nigeria is greater than
all of us. Today somebody is in power,
tomorrow another person will be there,
nothing lasts forever. When you come and
your hallmark is vengeance, every
government that takes us back to autocracy
or wants to use force to rule Nigeria, that
government will not endure by the grace of
God (Amen). Ayo Fayose is not afraid of
anybody, life is only lived once, cowards die
many times before their death, the journey
of life is not measured by financial
attainment, a lot of men that are supposed
to be honourable today have gone
underground because of fear of the
unknown, there is nothing new in this
world.
Again I want to say this expressly, I support
the fight against corruption, but I want to
say it is not good to fight corruption
without being total. It should not be
selective, it should not be against a
particular political party, it should not be
against those who did not vote for you.
Forever if Buhari comes 300 times, I will
never vote for him. I am entitled to vote
whoever I choose, democracy is by choice,
the government of the people, for the
people, by the people. If they make Buhari
the Chairman of Federal INEC, I will defeat
him in Ekiti. If he converts himself from
president(Comma nder in Chief ) to Chief of
Army Staff and come to Ekiti, I will still defeat
him. The power of the people is greater
than those people in power.
I will remain one of the few voices that will
continue to tell them the truth, God is
greater than man, Ekiti is a separate entity,
we are one out of 36 states in Nigeria, I owe
them no apology, I represent the interest of
my people, when Obasanjo took Tinubu's
allocation, everybody condemned it, Tinubu
himself stood against that tyrannical rule of
Obasanjo. I, Ayo Fayose will stand against
this tyrannical, autocratic dictatorship of
Buhari in Abuja.
I want to reassure all of you, the journey of
life can only be lived by men that has
conviction and courage, this press men too
should be bold enough to report us the way
we say it, if we are not afraid, what is your
fear? Whatever I say, publish it! My name is
Ayo Fayose, Ekun Oke, Irunmole to nje Jollof
Rice.
If after the supreme Court, Nigerian
supreme court, the highest authority and
the highest judicial body in the land ruled
that Ayo Fayose won election convincingly, if
the supreme court says there was no
militarization, America says there was no
militarization, international communities
says there was no militarization, nobody
can take Ayo Fayose out of Ekiti. They should
tell them in Abuja, my name is Peter, Peter
The Rock. If you fall on me, you will break, if
I fall on you, you will break, and I want to
say this again, any government, any
government, any government, whether
federal, state or local, that confronts me, that
government will come down somehow,
anyhow IJN (Amen).
As covered and protected as the snail is with
the shell at the back, snail is careful not to
go near salt. The very day the snail goes
near salt, that is the end of the snail. I am
not amongst those cowards that you cow,
that you look for things to implicate, look for
anything to implicate me, you are not God! I
want to say expressly again my people,
when you get to the book of Joshua, the
bible says fear not, only be courageous, this
enemies we see today, they will be no more.
Buhari can never change, I was 24 when he
became president of Nigeria, head of state,
the same attitude of that time is the same
attitude now, all the past president of
Nigeria, all of them spent security fund the
same way, if Buhari is confident of himself,
let him open the book of Obasanjo's
administration, if Buhari is confident of
himself, let him open Babangida's
administration, if Buhari is confident of
himself, let us visit his own administration.
Why will an armed robber carrying gun be
running after pickpockets, somebody
carrying cow, your are running after
somebody carrying Okuru (grasscutter), you
are running after that, they are wasting
their time. The APC didn’t contest because
they know they will get 16-0, 177-0, that is
why they are looking for technicalities, I
say the APC did not contest because they are
afraid of 16-0 again, I have 177 councilors,
they are afraid of 177-0. I am a grassroot
professor(of politics), I live with the people, I
am with the people!" |

Ekiti DSS Parade Kidnap Suspects
The Ekiti State command of the Department of State
Service on Monday paraded 13 kidnap suspects during a
visit by H.E, Peter Ayodele Fayose to its Ado Ekiti
headquarter.
The State Director of the command, Mr. Fubara
Duke who thanked the governor for his confidence in
security agencies in the state said the governor's
confidence and support has finally paid off.
“We could all attest to the fact that the kidnappers
terrorised the State from the first week of May this
year. Their activities brought a lot of trauma to the
people. Though, some of the victims have been released,
but we did
not give in.
We did investigation and we increased our network and
the result is what you are seeing today. What we found
with the composition of these suspects was that some of
them were members of the inmates that escaped during
the November 30, 2014 jailbreak in Ekiti”, Fubara
Duke said.
Also speaking, the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police,
Mr. Etop James said the anti-kidnapping Squad of the
Command was working round the clock to prevent
resurgence of kidnapping in the State.
Taking his time to parade the criminals one after the
other, Mr. Duke mentioned Augustine Ozoh(presently
at the service's Warri field office) and Gbenga David
a.k.a Oruma( receiving treatment from gun shot
injuries) as the only absent members of the gang.
He went further to parade one Ayodele Solomon
(a.k.a AY), AY who escaped from prison in the
November 2014 Ado-Ekiti jail break was described as a
major player in the team, he was identified by his
victims, he confessed to the crime and has been
cooperating with the command.
Next to him is Damilola(a blood relation of AY), one
Alhaja (she was arrested with 2 double barrels), one
Bose, one Felix a.k.a 6million, one Tope, one self
acclaimed Pastor of the Celestial Church of Christ
(Babatunde Balogun), one Owolabi (the gang's driver),
one Abayomi (he joined the group from Ado-Ekiti
prison), Omidiran(who was arrested alongside AY), one
Popoola and one Kayode.
Ekiti State governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose in his
reaction commended the joint efforts of the Police and
SSS in Ekiti state which resulted in the arrest of the
13 suspected kidnappers saying the gesture will go a long
way at ensuring relative peace in the state.
The governor who decried the jail break in the state last
year and its attendant criminal activities, including
kidnapping and armed robbery called on people of the
state to always avail the security agencies necessary
information that could lead to the arrest of men of the
underworld.
He promised to continue to support the security agencies
as he has been doing within the available resources of the
state, saying the government has been working round the
clock to ensure the safety of lives and properties in the
state.

In USA, President Buhari said 1m barrel of crude oil was stolen per day by Jonathan's men. Today on NTA, President Buhari said 250,000 barrel of crude oil was stolen per day. Which one person go believe now? The USA 1m barrel per day or NTA 250,000 barrel per day. # TeacherTeachingUsConfusion |
Ekiti APC Spokesperson, Olatunbosun Seeks
Forgiveness from Fayose
Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress
(APC), Ekiti State chapter, Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun,
has sent emissaries to the Ekiti State governor, Mr.
Ayodele Fayose, seeking forgiveness for all he has
done in the past.
Sources disclosed that a national assembly member
from Ekiti State, was among those approached by Hon.
Olatunbosun to broker peace between him and the
governor.
Though it is not clear whether or not the emissaries
had reached out
to the governor, the source said Olatunbosun was
facing some spiritual problems, which necessitated his
seeking peace with those he believed he had
offended.
It was equally learnt that for the first time,
Olatunbosun was feeling
guilty, realising how Fayose truly changed his status
from a rice
farmer in Igbemo-Ekiti, his hometown, and a Beer
seller at Spotless Hotel, Ado-Ekiti, to a Deputy Speaker
of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, during Fayose’s
first administration between 2003 and 2006.
Olatunbosun was among those brought into political
limelight in Ekiti State by Governor Fayose. He was
said to be a rice farmer in
Igbemo-Ekiti, Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government
area of Ekti State when Fayose picked him up and
gave him the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket to
contest the Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government
Constituency II seat in the State House of Assembly.
Fayose went further to make Olatunbosun the House
of Assembly Deputy Speaker and even Acting
Governor, thus making him one of the most powerful
people in the government.
However, the moment Fayose was impeached,
Olatunbosun turned against the governor and he
eventually moved to the All Progressives Congress
(APC) when Fayose picked the PDP governorship ticket
last year.
“When Olatunbosun was made the APC Publicity
Secretary, his belief
then was that he will either use the position to get
money from the
APC national leader, Senator Bola Tinubu or if he
keeps attacking
Governor Fayose, the governor will have no option
than to call him for
settlement.
“As it is now, Olatunbosun has not been able to get
the expected
financial benefit from Tinubu and Fayose has ignored
him despite his
persistent lies against the governor.
“Most importantly, Olatunbosun is said to have been
battling with some spiritual problems for sometimes
now, and all what he has been told so far was to go
and beg whoever he had betrayed in the course of his
journey in life,” a source said.
One of the emissaries who spoke under the condition
of anonymity said; “He told us that his spiritual father
from Oke Agbe Akoko in Ondo State, in whom he had
the greatest trust, also told him to seek
forgiveness from the offended benefactor. That, until
he seeks
forgiveness from who changed the story of his life for
better, and whom he personally confirmed to be
Governor Fayose, he may not likely have a solution to
his problem.”
“Honestly speaking, I have never had much belief in
consequences of betrayal to be this cumbersome and
threatening, until when this man called Olatunbosun
ran to me for help.
“I thought it was a kind of political merrymaking which
he has been
known for, not until he showed me a big sore on his
lap.
The national assembly member, who said he was yet
to meet with the governor on the issue, added that he
was still looking for an
auspicious time to talk to the governor, and that he
was sure the
governor will forgive and forget.
“Although he has confided in us that he cannot but
discharge his duty as the mouthpiece of the party,
APC, here in Ekiti, he confessed that most of the press
releases published in newspapers in his name were
actually written by one of the aides of former
Governor Kayode Fayemi.
