What breakthrough did strikers like sesko, Ekitike, cunha and delap have?
All of these players are demanding less than VO and in addition particularly Delap and Cunha are concerned they are EPL tested and proven in lower quality club's and have the potential to score more in a much more quality club like Manchester United.

There may be other considerations for instance Delap , Sesko and Ekitike are all 22 years young, clubs may add to value potential because of their young ages.

Not signing for Chelsea last season was not a good decision. I am so sure with his support and presence Chelsea would've give the epl trophy a fight and might have scoop either of league or fa cup plus the conference cup. By now he will negotiating an improved salary and ready to go to Saudi when he is 31 or 32
Agreed 💯

Until you prove it then it's speculation.

Remember the phrase. "She stoops to conquer" at the moment to be brutal he is doing village champion in Turkish retirement league.

If I were Eric Chelle, l would've called locally based players in order to create a wider pool of players in case of injuries, etc, than these ones who apply their trade abroad.

For instance, Bafana-bafana is divided into 3 strings of teams with different coaches using the same formation so that whenever each player is called into the first string, he is fully aware of the expected game philosophy.
A-string is preparing for the World Cup qualifying games in the absence of Sundowns players because they are preparing for the clubs' world cup.
Coach Vela Khumalo announced his Bafana COSAFA squad on Friday afternoon, with some of the players who have been dropped by Hugo Broos preliminary squad for the international friendly games between Tanzania & Mozambique. Khumalo recently guided the SA Under-17 Men's National Team to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in QatarKaizer Chiefs coach takes charge of Bafana Bafana's COSAFA Cup team

Vela Khumalo - the Kaizer Chiefs reserve team coach - is in charge of the national team during the regional tournament.

The competition will be played between 4 & 15 June in Mangaung | Bloemfontein.

GROUP A: South Africa, Mozambique, Mauritius, Zimbabwe
GROUP B: Angola, Namibia, Malawi, Lesotho
GROUP C: Tanzania, Madagascar, Eswatini
GROUP D: Zambia, Comoros, Botswana

Matches will be broadcast on SABC and SuperSport and streamed live on FIFA+.

Coach Khumalo is assisted by Reneilwe Letsholonyane, who is an assistant coach of under 20 AFCON Champions 2025. Meanwhile, Coach Molefi Ntseki will serve as technical advisor to the Bafana COSAFA squad. Ntseki also helped the SA Men’s National Team qualify for the CHAN tournament finals in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in August 2025.

Khumalo’s selection includes several players from Hugo Broos’s preliminary squad who didn’t make the cut for the June 2025 international friendly games against Tanzania and Mozambique. He also considered players likely to feature in the Bafana CHAN team.

This leakage and lineage of coaches and players of Bafana-bafana is one of the advanced development programs we've ever seen for continuity beyond the upcoming World Cup and AFCON tournament to be held in Morocco 🇲🇦.

Copied
Locally based players who are not 🚫 not good enough 😤 with dubious manufacturered ages 😨

The basis of selection is, outstanding consistent top level performances in your club and league, EOD. Not if you are a local based player.

I watched Ismaila the number 2 in the game against Jamaica, he was VERY POOR and a huge weak link against a B Jamaican side. Should never have been invited and he is claiming 21 😳

Trust me had it been oshimen accepted Chelsea offer last season with conditions for top bonuses like qualifying Chelsea for champions league to top it 10M annual wage.....by now that wage for him would've been reviewed and improved upon because surely he would've not just qualified Chelsea for champions league but make them compete for epl trophy and also win Chelsea the champions league

He would've been a house hold name now in the world of strikers and the most talked about in the EPL
IF he performed then he will able to demand whatever he wants.

But you can't demand wages 😭 by speculation.

Osimhen has been working too... Since he started his professional career, is he supposed to go from €250k to €120k now?

Omo one thing is certain, any decision he makes, I'll always support him, whether he takes a pay cut o, or goes to Saudi o, or stays at Galatasaray o... I'm a die hard Osimhen fan, but taking a pay-cut with his achievements at this age is not making any sense to me.

No European striker currently that will boast of Osimhen's numbers and achievements will take a pay-cut, the clubs will not even think of bringing that proposal in the first place.
What numbers ❓

Remove the highlights of the Turkish retirement league and tell.me his achievements in comparison to other top strikers.

This will tell you why not many clubs are willing to meet his huge wage demands.

Essentially he has had only one break out season in his entire career and that was when he won the scudetto with Napoli getting 27 league goals. Prior to that he was never scored more than 15 goals in a season, still very good but not world class pedigree in my opinion.

What is wrong with your local talents and why cant you develop your football academies. You think England will allow you snap their top talent on the pretense of ancestry. Stop playing biko
Not all Nigerian origin players can play for England 🙄

When we had Eze in our clutches we decided we wanted the Nwakali brothers instead.

There is no Academy in my opinion in the EPL without several Nigerian origin players too many to mention.

Our government wants present it's achievements and it decides to leave Abuja and Lagos and go and a presentation in London.

But you find it hard to consider players in England.

I don't ever want to see Iwobi playing any midfield role in SE. It has become obvious the man is at the foundation of all the failures we have recorded since he started playing for us. Iwobi is not a midfielder! Let Chukwueze play there

Please don't get me wrong. Iwobi is not bad, my point is this, yesterday Chukwueze was weapon fashion against the Jamaican. And infact most of all his goals for eagles are straight from the middle, 1vs1, cutting and were deadly.
Do you know Jamaica is rated 63 , it's not a benchmark for quality.

Chukwueze has played near 50 games for the SE scored 7 goals. And the first time he has been able to shine small it's against B team Jamaica 🙄🙄 and you are hyping the matter.

Chukwueze has had his time we need something much better.

If we sort our defensive & creative issues, I think we can win
Im just not confident in all the defenders we have
I wish Adarabioyo had declared already for us
Coach should drop Ndidi & play Onyeka as DM, Ndidi doesn’t have 90 minutes intensity anymore. He can always come on for Onyeka
Uche should play box to box or move to AM role if Iwobi gets substituted for Onyekachi
He should start Iwobi as AM & bring in Bashiru in the second half
Coach needs to caution whoever would play in the right wing and right midfield, they need to help Aina at the right back
I think Bruno starts ahead of Agu based on athleticism
Maybe they switch between 3-4-3 and 4-3-3 in the game.
I think Chukwueze can play free role better than Lookman, so Chukwueze can sometimes drift in the middle
Lookman is so used to Italian league style 3-4-3
I doubt if he’d severely trouble the opposition if we play 4-3-3. I hope we score first & in the first half. If we can play with intensity and score 2 goals in the first half, the last quarter should be time wasting and managing the game properly
I think if coach gets his defense personnels correctly as well as energetic midfielders. We will get 6 points in September
I wish super Eagles good luck
Im not confident we have the right defenders though
Im now confident we have a solid midfield and strike force
Coach should take out the players who don’t show individual brilliance in the team.
Individual brilliance, pace, physical power is what we can rely on since the South Africans have team chemistry checked
Iheanacho shouldn’t be called for September games, he’s not lethal, crafty and quick anymore
All coach needs to do in our midfield is take out Papa Daniel and bring back Iwobi post friendlies
Go and watch Ademola against Liverpool playing for Leicester city and getting MOTM.

The OP emphasized on being a Son of God.

The right to become sons of God wasn't given to anyone until Jesus laid down his life it was after Jesus' ransom sacrifice that the privilege to become sons of God was opened {John 1:11-12} so from the days of Abel (born of women) till the time of John the baptist nobody qualifies to be called Son of God {Matthew 11:11} it was after Jesus' ransom sacrifice that the door was opened and it was opened in connection with the gathering of (born again Christians) the sons of God creation itself has been waiting for this to be revealed! Romans 8:19

So there's no way an individual can get that seal on his head {Revelations 14:1} if he or she doesn't assemble with the Son of God (born again Christians) Act 2:1-4
Who did Apostle Paul assemble with before he started his mission ❓

It's very possible but such persons are not grounded because they don't know the word very well. Cos the bible said we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves together
Were two or more are gathered in my name he is also there. You are the light of the world you take light 🕯️ to darkness 🌑 not light 🕯️

Coming together is not a command to go to church but fellowship together for Christ sake.

First command of God is to love ❤️ the Lord your God with all your heart and mind. Can you know God without knowing his Word. 80% of Christian in my opinion have not read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

If you know the word of God you can not be DECEIVED, if you don't you are already DECEIVED but you don't even know it

It's impossible to please God without FAITH, you must BELIEVE that he is a REWARDER (EXPECTATION) of those who DILIGENTLY seek him.

16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,”

If your entire Christian walk is about going to Church then you may he going to church but not WALKING with God

VO had not played in the most competitive and fast league as well as best in the world.

The EPL is not Turkish league it's much better than that. The Solanke I did not rate scored 18 premier league goals for AFC Bournemouth last season. He joined Tottenham he is not the sole center of attention and just tally dropped to 9.

I would be cautiously optimistic about a player who had only hit double figures once in his entire career in a top level of league.

Chai
I appreciate your perspective.

Look at VO progression in football ⚽ at Royal Charleroi, Lille, Napoli & now Gala in all these clubs he has been the center of attention in a pyramid structure with him the quintessential number 9, the Focal point of all forward play.

What happens when he goes to Chelsea, Manchester United and or Manchester city. He will not be the star ✨ boy and focal point of their football strategy.

He will have to adjust and adapt as well as compete with other star players in a league with high expectations if you don't hit the ground running you will benched.

If he goes to Newcastle he will be that Guy as long as he performs and if Watkins leaves Villa same thing. Tottenham have been in transition for nearly 10 years and he will be competing with Solanke it may be difficult VO is not Harry Kane.
