I won't say he's fraudulent but he lies shamelessly. For example, if he says don't worry it is working perfectly well, know that there's a million and one issue wrong with the item.

I didn't bother to do the vans deal again but I'm sure his claim of each vans making 300k per month will be nothing but lies.

He will renege on all the claims he made that made you to buy the item when you discover a fault.

Happy birthday to those that would have bought any of these items already. You know they say Satan is the father of all liars, the real owner of these items is the father of Satan. I lost only 150k naira instead of about $16k.

My main concern was to buy his advertised vans but I'm not in the country to verify his claims. Then, I told a lady friend to buy some other items from him so that he'd use one of the vans to deliver the items. Let's just thank God that the van managed to reach Abulegba from Surulere. Then I told the lady that the vans may not be working fine since he didn't claim that but my main concern is the connection to the distributors. That let's wait till after the new year before I buy the vans. So that there won't be stories that the distributors are not opened yet.

There were lots of irregularities in his claims but I just thought that he is in a hurry to meet a deadline, so I overlooked all those lies. But every of the items I bought has one issue or the other. Then I messaged him that I'd be returning one of the items as it's not working perfectly fine. It will even cost me more to return than to replace/repair, but I wanted to try to still trust him because I really need those vans and the "connection to the distributors". Instead of him to try and talk me through, he dropped a bigger lie that made me to type this long thread.

You don't need to believe me, go and test the waters. May God be with you. I'll be here again when you return to verify my claim.

I'm not there but the 2HP I first got my brother say it's almost Powerful enough to cover a whole 3 bedroom flat. The warranty on the product is 2 years while it's 5 years on the compressor. I bought from the registered distributor, Somatex though.

Edit: I discovered my brother did not want to go through the stress of returning it. After I got another I asked a cousin to confirm my brother's claim. He called me that the AC are worse than blowing oneself with hand fan.

Midea sent in their technician who confirmed that the ACs are bad but they don't want to change it. I hope no one make the same mistake

Not exactly but I bought Midea yesterday for 150,990 for 1.5HP split inverter AC with accessories. The LG equivalent was 173k including accessories but not Installation. So the 1HP for LG should be around 150k with accessories. If the seller takes 102k and provides evidence that he got it from Fouani I'll buy it tomorrow

The 40k home theater guy actually disappointed me and not even you. I was the first to see the post at midnight and we spoke and agreed on the price. He asked me to come for pick up the next day at ogba. I kept on communicating with him that I would be there before 11am since I would need a vehicle too for pick up..The guy even assured me he is waiting for me. The last guy that posted home theater for 40k here annoyed me to my bone. I had sent my brother to Fouani to buy a home theater at Allen when I saw the post. I ordered my brother back and when he's stuck at traffic I sent money to another just so they can meet up with the seller on time. When one was almost at Ogba (the seller location) then I asked him to be available only for him to tell me he's sold the home theater system.

The anger has made me to even refuse to buy the home theater again

It's really not nice both ways because I know the number of times I've re arranged my movements to be available for a "pickup" that didn't happen. I know it will also be disappointing for a buyer who plans to pickup and is then told "sold out".

we should all just do better.

Sometimes the "supposed' buyer would ask for the origin of the product and even go as far as asking for receipt and all manner of infuriating demands which will be met and will ask fora ridiculous reduction which I might even agree to and will still be no show.
