I bought a Sumec Firman at their office in Ikeja today and they gave me a 3 months warranty. I objected that it'd be 3 years but they say it's 3 months. Is this true?

If it is a gift then, don't tell him; let it be on HP, with 20/25k weekly to pay exact amount you biught the car or a lil above the amount, just to make it real. The money can even come in handy in case the car has a major fault in future. He will be in charge of repairs and everything; with that he will learn to be responsible in taking care of the car as a car owner.

You may cancel the HP plan for him and handover the lil amount he has paid you (if you wish) after observing him and convinced he's focused.

No there are other ways u can put him on his toes, by asking him to cover certain bills or taking care of your parents bills which u were doing before now that he is doing something. But telling ur blood brother to be remitting money to u weekly like what we see fellows do here is somehow to me. I don't know about ur family history though, but I know my mom will never be happy if he finds out I bought a car for my younger brother & collects weekly rental from him, when I am capable of gifting him the car. People spend millions sending their younger ones abroad, of which the family will also benefit in the long run, same should apply here. But telling him to balance u weekly no longer make u any different from what people like jpworld & dru are doing here & I don't see special help there considering d fact that both of u are of d same blood. Like I said in my first post, if u are capable of gifting him d car, gift it to him, designate some family responsibilities to him, but Don't collect weekly rental from him, unless u borrowed the money & let him know it is d reason u are collecting d weekly rental. We grow by helping other members of the family that is what many don't know.

For the better part of living, u don't run business with family, only in few case things turn out well and in a case like this, u want to help him I guess, not business partners. For this reason, here is a free advice, but won't mind a bottle of wine for saving you this stress... Gift him 500k by giving him a target to raise 150/200k and if u can give him 700k out of 1.8m, fine! 700k will get a nice clean civic 2004 that can help a serious mind folk to start being dependent enough to solve minor life issues(if he cant manage little, he still wont b able to manage much). Take this from me, this way u save yourself from family issue, bitter enmity for years that may pass to the children, losing all d 1.8 plus registration and fixing money.

We honestly can't help who we love, we can only do our little part and as d saying goes "heaven help those who help them self". If ppl on renting and HP is doing 20/25, even some did 10k and still have issues, then that person that knows u when u r nothing, that see's u when u were wearing pant, while using stick to roll tyre around during your childhood days, may take you for granted on a full scale and expect u to understand for the sake of maaaamaa. The ball is in it court

Yes I strongly advise that you stay away from haier thermocool. Even after their engineers took away the deep freezer and repairing it, the situation of the freezer only got worse. I regret buying their products. They have destroyed my business and wasted my money.

Maybe it is. I haven't enjoyed it since. They came to carry it somedays ago. Either they fix it or replace it with a new one. I'm expecting their message or new device this week.


I will advise you try another product.

This is the exact brand of Haier Thermocool I bought on 24th of Last month for N106,000 at their warehouse at Illupeju in Lagos. Honestly I regrets buying this product. I started using it after 24hours to allow the gas to settle. On 12th of this month (less than 3 weeks), it suddenly started defrosting. By the third day, everything has turned to water and it never froze or even cool since then till now. I called their service agent. Promised to send engineers in 48 hours but they refused to show up to day.

I am planning of returning it on Monday, next week and get my money back. N106,000 no be beans

Yes Boss, I did figure. I already got 2 lg inverter ACs from fouani! They are working very well, besides they gave me 2 years warranty on them. Thank you!
