Omonoba1: am at Edo scholarship board now and the guy here said the list was sent to them by agbami to confirm if they are actually Benin names and indigenes...he further said they av returned d list to agbami afterwhich agbami wud then get back to them with list of awardees and their passport attached ..and also messages and emails wud be sent during this time..i was asked to check back nextweek...so lets keep our fingers crossed till then..

Mcslize: Boss I guess this is your first post ume ever. who no go no know o. Do you know how many times I have written jamb and post ume just beacause of this MEDICINE? I had forfeited 2 admision in uniben.

I started writing post ume since 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. God was aware that I needed medicine and you could imagine how many times I had prayed and fasted for this Medicine. (Who no go no know). 2011 I was given admision in the faculty of life science AEB to be precise. I forfeited it cuz I refused to do clearance for the fact that it was not what I wanted. Last year I was given the same course AEB for the second time.
One of my friend that was also hunting for medicine accepted his offer that year 2011 and was doing his course but also put in again that very last year for medicine where he got 220 in jamb and went for the post ume and blast it like a thunder by having a post ume screening score of 79/2 and an aggregate of 68 Ondo By state of Origin but was given Optometry . He decided to continue with his plant and Biotechnology course he was doing. He is looking forward to going to 400level soon after 2nd semester. As I had forfeited my 2011, I decided to do a 2yrs ND programme in one of the Engineering courses called Biomedical Engineering in one of the schools in UBTH and came out with a distinction which can be used to study any Engineering course in Uniben. You could see my reason for leaving things for God to decide? Which prayer have I not prayed? (Abi na fasting omo I don do all that). Look at my count down from 2009 just beacause of medicine. And you can see I had forfeited two admision from uniben. So it was not like I was not given any course. The funniest part was; two of the admision I got , I had the same score. 2011 I scored 245/8 in jamb & my post ume screening score was 62/2 aggregate was 62 course given was ANIMAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL BIOLOGY in the faculty of life science. 2012 I also wrote jamb (but jamb jambed me) .I must study medicine I went again 2013 jamb score was 219/8 ppt, post ume screening score 69/2 my aggregate was 62 course given ANIMAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL BIOLOGY. What a coincidence! Does that help to explain why I have an alternative to port to Engineering if uniben fail to give me Med this time around? I have grown to love Chemical Engineering in a recent time just like as I love Medicine. But my passion for medicine is higher though but not withstanding this is going to be my last shot for medicine. I prayed about it and I hope God will atlast fulfil my inspiration. E no easy Bro. I am born to rule and I must be where I want to be. I am not scared of this post ume neither am I hopeless. I will compile all these as an experience if I finally get it this time around. The race does not belong to the swifts nor the food to the strong but God make all things come to pass. It is not by brain nor by ability but by favour from above that can land one in Medicine.

splasher: DOCTORS AGAIN-You can be a called a doctor in two ways 1. By Nomenclature. Anybody who cares for a patient and is suitably qualified to care for that patient. eg medical doctors, nurses, pharmacist, medical scientist,optometrists, dentist etc provided you care for a patient. This is the dictionary definition. 2. By qualification. When your certificate carries an appellation of DOCTOR by a recognized institution. By this our medical boctors have no right to call themselves doctors since their certificate carries the appellation Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery. The word DOCTOR comes from the root word teacher, this means you must have been proven to have a doctrine(by the way of a thesis). Our present medical doctors do not carry out a research thesis before graduation so CANNOT BE CALLED DOCTORS by qualification, unlike in the US where they award MD. Why all this story? There is nothing special about medical doctors that make them think that other professions must be downgraded because the government positioned them as the leader of the health care team. Methink because if this appellation called DOCTOR that makes them think they are special. Since they are doctors by nomenclature, pharmacists, medlab, nurses etc can be called doctors and deserve the same recognition as our dear medical doctors. Only Optometrists and pharmacists(UNIBEN) are doctors by qualification and nomenclature.

Here is a trick to blast ur pume. It has been working in previous exams nd i dnt tink dix wud b diff.
1. Knw dat english karies abt 50% of d exam, so here it is grab a copy of a gud jamb past questions nd answers series study all d questions if posible cram all esp d comprehension. If u do dat fatefuly i bet u ,u gota c 95% of d questions on ur exam. N u wud pick d answers efortlesly. For d general paper try 2 pafect wat u already knw instead learnin new stuf dat cud b taskin 2 u at ddix short time. Then one more tin b conversant wt curent afairs.u wil kum bak 2 tank mi. dats wrong info. Uniben dnt ask fr olevel result wen aplyin 4 pume. Jux score 200 nd abv in jamb. Nd u kan rite pume
