But the biggest form of hypocrisy is to expect people to treat a mad person with the same decency they'd treat a normal person.

The company never admitted that it is a software bug, rather they would adjust the settings to reduce the flickering. OLED flickers when dimmed. Kindly Google flicker free OLED display and understand how that can be achieved.

There is nothing wrong with the display. The problem is most users of the Redmi Note 10 series are coming from phones with LCD display. OLED display flickers when dimmed to a particular level while LCD does not. This flickering even causes headache for some people. OLED uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) while LCD uses DC Dimming. Please make further research.
Personally, I prefer LCD to OLED because I use my phone in the dark a lot. I am actually posting this from a dark room.
