They also said we are to attend to current affairs qwestns too...how im i gonna knw the particular current affair i shuld focus on (i.e local, international or both)...once again thanks for the advice.

the truth is dat u dnt nid 2 read geography. Its abt 4 or 6 questions out of 80,neither readin a whole geo text nor part of it 4 dat few quest wil b advisable. Jux rely on wat u learnt in secondary sch. Atleast u kud ansa 1 or 2..as for d curent afairs, l stated in my 1 to 3 rules above dat u should b curent abt tins hapenin in d world n names of places n prominent people holdin key positions around d world. Listenin to news wil help a great deal in dat aspect n knw names of ur ministers. Example .. Dis year in biological sciences they asked 1. Who is the curent united nation secretary general.? 2.where is the headquarters of world health organisation.? Last year they askd which is d country produce d fastest train.? So they are knowlege u kan acquire wen u listen to news esp NTA,STV. AIT. It wud b beter if u gat cable tv nd so acess to international news...help urself wt dis , which african country did nt experience colonisation?. A. south africa B.ethiopia C.zimbabwe D.zambia, i new dis frm tv.

although out of d 8 putme uniben has conducted only abt 2 dy didnt lift jamb comprehension. Bt d general paper ix mostly frm jamb...same goes for post direct entry. Last yr i had 74 in pume. N 68 in direct entry(d highest in direct entry,n entire exam) post direct entry. Xo i had double admision in medicine.D secret was jamb past quest. Take last yr pude n pume past quest n find out... why are u guys bothering urself abt postume past questions? Uniben dnt wil nt repeat their questions. Even if it hapens which by experience is unlikely 2 hapen. Dy wunt repeat more than 2 questions in d entire exam.there is one major secret 2 pasin putme wt score abv 70. If u adhere 2 wat am gota tel u faithfuly u wil cum tankin me in d nxt 5 month or there abt..
1. Forget abt uniben putme past question
2. Buy jamb past quest in all ur subj. Lay more emphasis on eng. Both d comprehension n idioms. Read everytin n memorise all d ansas includin d comprehension. Any ansa u feel is wrong comfirm it frm ur dictionary n txt bks. Do same to other subjects.
....d fact is all of d postume englsh are liftd frm jamb past question includin comprehension. Dis is also d case wt general paper. Xo if u kan read all d years. U wil nt score below 70. Jst learn a bit of maths n b more curent abt tins hapenin in d world....

Postume is divided in2 four., 1.Engineering n physical science(ðε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ do eng, math, phy,current afair,chm)., 2.social sciences(ðε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ do math,eng,econs,gov,geo,curent afair) 3.law n art(they do gov,curent afair,eng,lit in eng,) .4. biological sciences(ðε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ do bio,eng ,maths,curent afair,chm,phy). D exam is conducted 2 days wt mornin n aftanoon session in each day. Dat is d four group do d exam in diff time.

Considarin jamb 2013 perfomance 221 is a pretty high score.last yr cut of mark was 65. Xo u nid to score 74 To make it. Social sci is easy to hv such score.bt blv me cut of mark 4 dis yr wunt b as high as last yr. Xo u nid at least 65 in screening score to hv 60 which might b d cutof. As 4 d subject ,expect questions frm,general paper nd english.d general paper compose abt 40 question.includin econs,maths,gov,a bit of geography n curent afairs. Then english whch is abt 40 questions consist of comprehension pasage wt abt 5 questions,35 questions on lexis n structure,antonyms n synonyms,idioms.

SIMPLIFIED: @kely..am really confused,dnt know what to do..i had 227 nd i applied 4 med..am thinking of buying change of course form 2 med lab..i applied 4 med lab in 2011 wit 245 as utme score nd 58 as pume score, i was admitted but neco gce ruined it.. dnt know if i dnt meet cut off 4 medicine i wud be given basic medical science, dnt want to be thrown 2 agric..cos dats where med students are always thrown..shud i switch or stay nd also wit high cgpa can i switch 2 pharmacy since med nd dentistry dnt accept inter departmental transfer?

hmm, if u dnt meet medicine cutof u r likely to b given agric,botany ,zoology,.secund choice is hard 2 get. Cuz ppl fil it as .first choice. U kan tranfa 2 pharmacy frm agric, botany,optometry,zoology,or basic med sci. Course.
