Karleb: Sponsoring to university level is the basic. What was the father supposed to do, not sponsor his child to university level? Please, let's stop celebrating mediocrity.
If you are from an average home, you'd know that to be great, your parent have to sacrifice more especially when you have the potential.
Nobody forced any person to have kids. If you can't take care and sacrifice for your kid, why have them?
When I have my kids, after myself, they will be my greatest investments. I think i love this comment. You can imagine a father who has houses and then he leaves his first and only son and his siblings to painfully navigate life. The children then become successful, you are now telling me to take care of him and prioritise him. That's a big joke. Sometimes, it's not even about the money. Some fathers can be terribly mean. If you have a father that doesn't have much but then he's been sincere, he encourages you and prays for you... it's even enough to reward the father for good in his old age |

Front0lane: I was just stating this fact a while back NNPC that can not refurbish 3 refineries under it must not be the sole buyer of Dangote refined product. In fact NNPC must be barred from patronizing Dangote at all.
NNPC must be force to fix it own refineries the GM sacked with immediate effect and each and 3very perosn that as every worked there from management to the security sacked never to be employed by any federal institution. Nigeria is not really hard to manage, honestly. We just have very mean people at the helms of affairs |

dyydxx: Even this one too sounds somehow. So you mean someone that can make it to the supposed store to buy something worth 500k will not ask once inside the store after inspecting the phone or laptop that he is there to get it and has been chatting with the owner. You mean someone that can physically get to the store will not interrogate the people he met at the store about this awoof deal he sealed?
If there are people like that this even sounds dumber than dumb. Not logical at all Exactly. Very dumb. I've experienced this with at least 2 persons and several of my colleagues have experienced such. Greed is a huge factor here on the part of the buyer. Nigerians can be funny at times |

I see people here saying it can only work on dull people...okay ooo Just be very careful when buying on jiji especially. The scam is now advanced now. Scammer opens an online store on jiji with a real seller's shop address. He'd then direct you to his store in Computer village. If the phone or laptop is 800k, he'd tell you it's 500k. As you get to the store, he'd be chatting you to ask of you have seen the item and that his younger brother is in the one in the store at the moment. He'd keep pressuring you to make payment cos other buyers are also coming for it. Gbam, your own greed will make you send money to him..After that, fight will now start between you and real seller. Let's all be careful now |

GanagiBitrus: I don't think it's easy to pull this scam. The delivery man has instructions & details of how you will make payment, which you as the buyer will confirm from him. It's very very very easy bro and it has been going on for a long time now. I've been a victim too Some buyers get too excited when they receive items and just go ahead to make payment. Greed also plays a huge factor here. If the item is ideally 1M, the scammer would give buyer for 700K If dispatch is saying the amount of the item is #1M, customer go dy argue say 'your boss gave me for 700K'. Gbam, they don navk am |

Before this disaster became president, we were clearing one laptop for #10K; did same yesterday and it costs me #74K for each. The same applies to guys that sell cars You guys keep making excuses for our leaders. The country is upside down, you are here saying people should not pretest peacefully |

SatoshiX: If you have shops, stores or supermarkets in Ikeja computer village, Surulere, Shoprite outlets etc, and you're supporting this protests, I'll advice you to think twice. Some people never recovered from the effects of the 2020 edition. Those that will be grateful affected are those that probably don't have any political bankrolling. Wisdom is profitable to direct. So because we have stores in those areas means we shouldn't have a peaceful protest for the betterment of the country? |
