GU has finally tanked... I woke up late today, saw a setup... I went to relieve myself in the bathroom only to come back and see it has moved +100 pips against me. The arrowed line shows where my entry should have been.

Entry missed, waiting for a reentry. I am not chasing this market.

I can see it too. Until I see a bullish breakout of the channel before I consider it a valid bullish flag, at the time I enter my sell, flag hasn't form. I will move on with my loss if it turns out valid but if not, and breaks down, I will add to my sell position.

If it is what i think it is, you should be able to get 3x your risk easily.

My bias hasn't changed, neither has the trend changed... I just used too tight a SL.

Technical analysis applies to all Indexes (NASDAQ, S&P500 etc.,) however when high impact news in the US is released they tend to be unusually volatile and direction less ONLY to manipulate and then go in the direction of the price backed by TA.

Worthy of note is knowing the daily bias of the market of an asset and patiently waiting to execute your trade at the open hours ( morning and afternoon sessions) of the indexes

I don't do crypto so I don't know much about this asset.

The only thing lacking in Synthetic is The News (Fundamental). So, whenever u see Spikes up and down for some few minutes, just know that that is the imaginary Fundamental moving prices for corrections

Thanks a bunch, I'm thinking of switching from currency pairs to sum'n else. I trade price action and the six pairs usually traded by me have been going loco since last week , added a whole lot of other pairs today. Imma see how it goes.

You know that some pairs respect TA more than fundamentals while some respect fundamentals more than TA. Gold, from my experience is one of the former(subject to correction). I would highly appreciate it if you could point me towards those pairs, indexes, crypto .e.t.c.

GU and EU. I haven't seen an entry reason on any of them yet, but it's looking like a close thing.

I took a counter trend gold trade risking 20pips for 100, I didn't post here because it's not something I do normally but I'll update y'all if it's a loss or not.

I swear, I lost 2% initially on the account before I realized the consolidation, as I began scalping, I was able to reduce the loss to .5%. If I close now, I'll be up 1.5% but no, I will leave it till tomorrow abeg. Lemme see it run.

I collect gbas gbos yesterday because I started using stochastic oscillator and moving averages. The losing streak continued until this morning, I decided to remove them and work with just price action/top-down analysis, since then na win for me

I use price action only, but I didn't notice it until it was too late. I was wholly focused on the H4 chart that looks trending while the consolidation was happening on the H1 - M15.

My analysis on Usdchf is on 1hr time frame and daily time frame: Usdchf might go lower this week. From the look of things, from 1hr time frame, a break below the support trendline could send Usdchf down to 0.94676

But from the daily time frame, Usdchf has reached the top of the resistance trendline and is unable to break it, which means it could send the Usdchf down to 092674 or the support trendline on daily time frame.

But a break above the daily resistance trendline would negate this idea.

What do you think guys?

I think the trend will soon change, these are the type of trades I like... Just catch the momentum at the beginning and you're home safe and sound

Watching UJ... If price comes back to any of the lower levels( possibly the 61.8 fib religion and prints a signal... I'll be looking to go long.
