I wonder how this country will progress with the caliber of civil servants we have. No wonder govt policies remain unimplementable and ineffective at best. Fowler was appointed based on merit from Lagos State. If proven technocrats will not be allowed to perform in civil service, then it's a pity.

This CAN sef! Why do they always cry wolf! As a Muslim familiar with Kaduna, the law should favour Christians more. I expect JNI to be the one complaining and not CAN.

On the dressing part, I for one will never feel guilty no matter what any recruiter says if I do not wear a suit to a pharmaceutical or food company interview, I am not applying to a bank for crying out loud. General lesson I have learnt about job interviews, it is not also easy for recruiters too, so as an applicant just maintain your calm as some jobs are just right for you no matter what while some are not, if its yours, you may not be the best dressed, the highest scorer, etc etc. If its yours, only one thing the recruiter sees in you may give you the job.

Enough of this minimum wage crap, minimum wage as in 30k if for low level cadre say for in instance factory assistants, gatemen, drivers etc not for graduates who are at higher cadres. I don't have the right information now but I know that a graduate in Fed. Govt agencies would be ranked level 8 and should not earn less than 100k. New recruit drivers, gatemen etc would be the ones on level 1 or 2 and are expected to earn around 30k. You can more complete info from state or FG agencies, or labour unions and be well informed on this matter. Thanks.
