I’ve actually been wondering about this because I recently received an iPhone I ordered from China, and honestly, the phone is very good.

Everything about it looks and feels right, so now I’m wondering where the “all iPhones from China are clones” narrative comes from.

I’m not saying there aren’t fake phones in China, but are people generalising too much?

Has anyone else bought an iPhone from China before? What was your experience?

This feels like a conversation starter, not an advert.

I sourced these iPhone cases from China with the hope that I would sell everything out quickly. 😅

But honestly, I’m beginning to ask myself if I made the right decision.

I went into this thinking I would attract more wholesalers and bulk buyers, but to my surprise, about 90% of the people buying from me are retailers.

It got me thinking… sometimes, you can source a product with one target market in mind, only to discover that another market is actually more interested in it.

The good thing is that the cases are still selling, but it has definitely taught me something important about understanding your market before importing in bulk.

Have you ever imported a product thinking one type of customer would buy it, only to discover that a completely different set of customers wanted it?
