concho: The thing is you have no idea of the collateral damage this has done to her business. When you are invited, I hope you have enough proofs to substantiate these mammoth allegations. Some of us tried to make it easy for you but you are still insisting. When it happens, you would have learnt some lessons in life. You still have some minutes grace to pull all those things down and tender an apology. 2 Likes |

concho: Oh this is not correct! Maureen is someone I have been doing business with for the past 4yrs! Very reliable, professional and straightforward! Let's avoid this "pull others down" syndrome! It helps no one! No matter the situation, don't destroy other people's hard earned business! Pls pull this down! 4 Likes |

Health / Re: HELP!!! Too Much Cold Water by kristonium(m): 5:42pm On Mar 29 |
bustykasa: Yes, pls stop already! You are destroying your organs Taking too much cold water daily can have various potential risks and effects on the body: Digestive Issues: Drinking extremely cold water can shock your digestive system and hinder the process of breaking down food, leading to digestive discomfort or bloating. Constriction of Blood Vessels: Cold water can cause blood vessels to constrict, affecting circulation and potentially leading to headaches or migraines in some individuals. Throat Irritation: Excessive consumption of cold water can irritate the throat and exacerbate conditions like sore throat or tonsillitis. Impaired Hydration: Cold water may not be as effective at hydrating the body as room temperature or lukewarm water. This can lead to inadequate hydration, especially during physical activity or in hot weather. Impact on Metabolism: Some studies suggest that drinking very cold water may temporarily reduce metabolic rate, which can affect digestion and calorie burning. Dental Sensitivity: Cold water can exacerbate dental sensitivity in individuals with sensitive teeth or dental conditions. It's essential to maintain a balanced approach to water consumption and consider factors such as personal tolerance, environmental conditions, and overall health status. Opting for water at moderate temperatures and staying hydrated throughout the day is generally recommended for overall well-being. 1 Like |

Crime / A Morning Encounter In Ipaja, Lagos by kristonium(m): 12:36pm On Oct 27, 2023 |
This morning in Alaba Road, Baruwa, Ipaja, my mother-in-law had an unsettling encounter that serves as a stark reminder of the need for vigilance, especially as the holiday season approaches. A man entered her store, seeking to purchase raw food items. Impatient and in a hurry, he urged her to quickly package the goods he desired. In a somewhat unusual turn of events, he requested to make an upfront payment of N100 for polythene bag. My mother-in-law, unaware of the impending misfortune, collected the money and merged it with her substantial cash amounting to N10,000. The man assured her he would return to complete the transaction, leaving as swiftly as he had arrived. It was only when the stranger had vanished from sight that my mother-in-law inspected her purse, realizing with a sinking feeling that her N10,000 had mysteriously vanished. This serves as a reminder that as the festive season approaches, instances of heinous deception and theft tend to rise. In the midst of our daily activities, let us remain vigilant, exercising caution and discretion when dealing with unfamiliar faces and unfamiliar transactions. The place of spiritual discernment can't be downplayed this period. It's also essential to be mindful of unusual requests and take extra steps to safeguard our valuables. Above all, in these times of uncertainty, let us also remember the power of prayer, seeking protection and guidance in all our endeavors. May we all navigate the coming days with wisdom, discernment, and an unwavering commitment to our safety and well-being. 2 Likes |

Romance / Let's Be Careful Out There by kristonium(m): 1:41pm On Sep 27, 2023 |
Just this morning I received a startling account from my brother-in-law that I believe serves as a critical warning to all. His extraordinary experience underscores the importance of being cautious in the face of unexpected situations. My brother-in-law, had an encounter last night while returning home from work that initially appeared to be an act of kindness. He offered a beggar N200 out of the goodness of his heart. Little did he know that this seemingly selfless act would lead to a most unusual and distressing outcome. Upon returning home, he was shocked to discover that something inexplicable was happening to him—his manhood was inexplicably shrinking at an alarming rate. Without hesitation, my brother-in-law and his wife, driven by their unwavering faith, embarked on a journey of fervent prayer, imploring divine intervention to restore what had been lost. After hours of unwavering prayer, a miracle unfolded—his condition improved, and his manhood returned to its normal state. While this incident involving my brother-in-law may seem extraordinary, it carries a powerful message. It serves as a reminder that while compassion and generosity are virtues to be celebrated, we must exercise caution when extending help to strangers. In today's world, scams and deceptive schemes can take various forms, and it is our duty to remain vigilant and discerning. This account underscores the importance of balance—balancing our compassion with discernment. It reminds us to be kind and generous while also being cautious in a world where deception can sometimes lurk in unexpected corners. Let this remarkable experience remind us all that while acts of kindness are admirable, it is equally essential to remain vigilant and discerning in unfamiliar situations or when helping strangers. 3 Likes 1 Share |
