90% of sss men and women are demoralized by this appointment. This is another appointment by our experienced, honest and incorruptible Buhari that is not going down well in sss.

I hear the man is mean and greedy. Again I must say Buhari is not getting it even if its his prerogative to so appoint.

Politics / Re: Why Buhari Rejected Wali As Acting INEC Chairman - PM News by kromoto: 2:34pm On Jul 02, 2015
dustmalik:

He is a brother to the PDP guber candidate of Sokoto, so you have no argument there. Also, the only people crying foul are pdp, because they would have preferred Wali, for Obvious reasons.

I was thinking it's just the wailing wailers problem until I watched channels this morning and I heard a lecturer from unilag hold my point of view in a broader way and I cannot help but agree even if i'm the only one to hold such opinion that Buhari with his experience and integrity did not mean well for INEC.

If GEJ can get it what stops Buhari?

Can you also prove that Amina Zakari has any link to APC, other than the lousy Oliseh Metuh suggesting so? On the other hand, there is clear evidence that Ahmed Wali is a brother to the guber candidate of PDP in Sokoto, from the last election. That clearly means he could be compromised.

Someone must be related to somebody! My argument is very simple Buhari is a symbol of integrity and honesty, if GEJ can give us Jega who did very well what stops Buhari from giving us a better Jega? What is this change about? My brother, Nigeria must get it perfect with Buhari.

my brother, i don't understand you, are you in support of. wali's appointment?

If GEJ can appoint Jega, who both APC and PDP were comfortable with, I expect Buhari with more of his integrity to appoint someone better than Jega.

Mind you both Wali and Mrs zakari don't have up to 6 months in INEC.

Buhari replaced a PDP man with an APC woman; that's all.

Snail baba, the partisan Mr go slow grin grin I hail you, sir!

I beg to strongly disagree with the rumour about Wali being a pdp man because if he was there would had been public outcry about it.

Can you truthfully say among the two appointments which has generated public condemnation more? This matter is very fresh in our minds.

Was Jega related to any notable PDP member?

You just posited that the sitting President must appoint someone who is sympathetic to his party and that why should pdp cry foul when Buhari is doing just that. I now asked you to prove or even suggest if Jega was ever linked to any party but yet he was appointed by GEJ.

Buhari symbolizes integrity and honesty but his actions with INEC has just proved otherwise.

If a 'sinful' GEJ can appoint an almost perfect human in the person of Jega, one would ordinarily expect Buhari to go a board higher by appointing a perfect angel to head INEC.

INEC is too sensitive for what Buhari has exposed it to.

.Pmb may not be the type who is in a hurry when it comes to appointment, but, when he appoints, its always a master stroke.Wait o was PDP expecting the president to appoint a PDP man as INEC boss?eya PDP sorry o,Mr president receives dozens of briefings about happenings around the country ( INEC inclusive) on a daily basis, so he knows the in and out of virtually all political appointees.

Jega was appointed by PDPs Goodluck Jonathan, can you now say that Jega was sympathetic to PDP?

Let's learn to be reasonable.

In a sane society, a policeman is respected. Why did he not stop in the first place?

Nobody seems to be asking this simple question but rather we are quick to abuse the police.

Correct! We have a duty to hold governt accountable irrespective of the person or party in power. A serious government will not even wait for people to cry and shout before appointing ministers.

Thank you sir but Nigeria did not elect APC/Buhari just just to calm nerves but to wrk and do the right thing. In fact,no nerve can be calmed except government do the right thing

I said it before and I will repeat that we need good governance. APC will get enough dose of pressure to cross the red sea ooo. If they knew they were not ready why proclaim CHANGE? Anyway I'm fed up with the stories of once upon a time I had no shoes or cows!

The best for the country should be the motivator in politics.

My brother, this is the only country we have. When I look at my kids, I just wonder with the way this country is going will they have opportunities and privileges to achieve what they hope to be?

It's about our kids and those unborn that this nation must not sink. It doesn't matter which or what party rules? All I want is a future for all kids!

It's scary!
