Kaduna State Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa’i has won the monthly CIAPS Governors Performance Index (CGPI) award while his counterparts in Kano and Sokoto States, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, occupied the second position.
The CGPI is a monthly performance review of governors performance across the country, conducted by the Lagos based Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS).
CGPI coordinator, Mr Olumuyiwa Ayoola, said yesterday that the variables used as indexes for performance were mathematically calculated and this month’s variables included “Readiness for Office, Innovation in Office, Ability to be in tune with mood of the nation and Security and Leadership by example.

Somebody spent barely a month & they are giving him performance award,what arrant nonsense . We have a lot of hypocrites in our land. I will advice that the Govenor keep focused & refused to allow himself to be deceived. Meanwhile civil servants are not paid,debts profile increased & nothing moves yet they are talking of performance. How many roads has he tard or how many projects has he executed ? Better still in what way has his policy affected the masses positively in a month that they have started giving him performing Governor ? A lot of twist & deceits in our nation.
