Olusoji Fasugba, Dwain Chambers, Asafa Powell, Maurice Greene, El Nino ![]() |
During Pre-Season training last year, I asked question on my thread before some moderator or administrator decided to lock it, that who was going to end up with 30 goals in the kitty. Well the English season has come and Gone. Reading have finally gone to where they belong, or rather still where was home for them, and what MANAGERS are thinking of now, is who and who they think would make them earn $80 million, come mid-next year. However, only three players made it, and most remarkable, was Ferdnando Torres, because he broke a record - 24 League goals for a foreigner in his debut season. Now, what next? Rafa would be confirming Phil Degen from Dotmund very soon, and Gary Barry would be moving to Anfield soon. Well, Voronin has not done bad this season, so who ever is saying he should be loaned out, let him burn in hell. What are you going to say of Kewell? Why wasn't he loaned out? or rather before now, sold? What of Agger? or was it because he scored the all important goal against Chel last season? Let Alonso got, for Lucas to command first team shirt. Mario Zarate is no bad idea, and Rafinha can come to help Skrtel, as Car goes wide. Crouch can leave, and as well Riise (no bad feelings dear). Its just that we have to challenge for the trophy next season. And let fire rage in the Director's box, and let Hicks burn. We want better days for Rafa, - God's gift to Anfield. You'll Never Walk Alone! |
Guys, I have a thread on El Nino's quest fro 30 goals this season. I know Kopites can really contribute on it. Thanks |
Its been a while, since the last post came onto this thread, and 11 goals have been scored, 1 conceded. El Nino is definitely on course to 30 goals as promised, and We have finally closed down the gap to 10 points with the leaders, at least until Man U plays, and who knows? History made itself however, this year. First, it was Gonners, who beat Milan in the Meazza, and then we, handing Inter its worst performace this season: two red cards and three goals over two legs, amazing. After beating them at Anfield, we have actually turned around our poor state of form in the EPL. what a good omen I'd say. Well, lets hope all of these work out well and we'd just clinch the title and end up in 3rd place at the end of the season. |
Ride on Son, make us proud. You can do it. |
On Thursday, Tom Hicks, the co-owner of Liverpool FC was touted to have said he has the final say on whether Gillette can sell his stake to Dubai International Capital, a consortium led by a die-hard Kop, now wanting to launch another take-over bid, after it failed to beat the American duo. But fellow Kops, and other liens that feel they can nose around, do you think Hicks or the fans have the final say? Yes, Hicks may have the bucks, but indeed, Anfield is faraway from Hollywood, California, Los Angeles or even New York. I think what the fans think, should be brought in to considerations, after all, they do the buying of tickets to watch every match of every competition, every season, since 1892. This fellow, should better stop seeing himself as the Alpha and the Omega, before some of us incite Usmanov, to leave some Gonners, and board a bus to Anfield, or rather, Stanley Park. |
Tomorrow, we file out against a team that gave Rafa his first defeat in the premier league? Or rather rafa's first defeat at the Reebok, was in 2004. However, so much has passed under the bridge. Some guys have gone, and others have come. When you talk of good guys like Smicer, Traore, Garcia, Gonzalez, Dudek, et al. However, guys like Babel, Torres, Kuyt, Crouch, Pennant, Lucas and even Skrtel have arrived. Hopefully, without the talismanic Anelka, Bolton would be harpless, and only God knows, Torres, may just be on top his game, like he was against Chelsea, Middlesborough, Derby and many others. With high hopes to win, we shall march, and believe that Everton drops points. You'll Never Walk Alone!!! |
He has scored 21 and still counting, in his first season at ANFIELD. Do you think El Nino can change history for the KOP?
|
Thug Life:Men, that is the only thing worth doing in this world for now |
Ibime:This guy is a fool, and stupid for that matter. You hate Liverpool? At whose detriment? Go to hell and suck for knowing that there are Kopites in the house. And for your information, Its not "Am a Kopite", but "Am a KOP" That is how we say it you fool,
|
GUYS! MY DELIGHT KNOWS NO BOUNDS. HE CAME LIKE IN THE MANNER OF OUR LORD. AND THEN, HE'S DOING WONDERS. WHEN LAST DID A RED MAKE 20 IN A SEASON? NOW, WE ARE NOT EVEN DONE FOR THE SEASON, AND HE'S MADE 21. WHO IS STILL DISPUTING THE PROWESS OF EL NINO. I REMEMBER AT THE START OF THE SEASON, A THREAD ASKED WHO WOULD MAKE THE 30 GOAL MARK. WELL, I CAN STILL REMEMBER, I VOTED FOR EL NINO, AND AM GETTING WORTH FOR MY EFFORTS. CROSS YOUR LEGS, AND LETS SEE THE REENACTING OF HISTORY, ON THE KOP LANE. MIDDLESBOROUGH MAY HAD SCORED THREE (OVER TWO LEGS), BUT WE SCORED FOUR: ALL FROM ONE PERSON, INCLUDING A 30 YARD SCREAMER. WELL, THAT IS TORRES FOR. WHO NOW, CAN DOUBT THAT GOD'S GIFT TO LIVERPOOL IS RAFA? |
dayokanu:I no know what Arsenal's gist is doing here, Just like what I put online abeg,
|
Jairzinho:Guy, Its been a long time. Plenty goals don pass over the bar. But tank God I can still come online afterall. Well, I'd check the thread, and do what I love doing online again. |
See What Rafa is Doing? He is: GOD'S GIFT TO ANFIELD!!! |
uche_uche:Guy, what arevelation you have here. I hope it comes to be, then Nigeria would maybe hire Pele, to revamp our natuonal team, as Pareirra is doing in South Africa. |
Do we need Junior Agogo or someone who can allow free reigns for Rafa? I think what we want is the departure of Hicks and Gillet. They must know that the GIFT of God to Liverpool FC is Rafael Benitez |
he he he Bang!!!Can you see what Liverpool can do? El nino and captian fantastic, combining to score fantastically, he he he, Chelski cut to 2 points? With a game in hand? he he heYou'll Never Walk Alone. |

Go Go Reds and bag a great victory against disUnited Atleast, 3-0? ![]() |
Rafa brushes over talk of owner rift Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez insists he is more concerned about facing Manchester United than George Gillett and Tom Hicks. While United have a date at Anfield on Sunday in a top-of-the table Barclays Premier League clash, there has been no public confirmation of when the talks will be held between Benitez and his club's co-owners, only that they are expected to be this weekend. The much-heralded meeting follows the fall-out over the new American tycoons' transfer policy. Benitez was angered by suggestions that perhaps he should stick to training and coaching and leave money matters to others. He said: 'They want to win, I want to win. We have more or less the same ideas. 'It is just a chance to find a solution to the misunderstanding. I do not have any personal problems with them. 'I think we will have meeting this weekend or next week. I am not sure. 'But I am not worried about this now as we are playing against Manchester United and it will be really difficult. We must think about the game.' It is understood there has been a considerable thaw in the relationship between owners and manager. That has been brokered by chief executive Rick Parry and Gillett's son Foster, who has been installed to work alongside Parry at the club. In addition, Gillett senior was in Marseille on Tuesday night to see Liverpool get the Champions League victory they needed by a thumping 4-0 margin. The mood around Anfield both on an off the pitch would appear to be positive. Certainly, Benitez was delighted to see Steven Gerrard set a club record 23 goals in Europe when he scored in France. 'To get that many at that level is difficult but to do it as a midfielder is even harder,' said the Anfield boss. 'It shows his consistency and his quality as a player. He has been around this club a long time. He trains well and plays well. 'I was pleased with his situation after that game in Marseille and what the team in general achieved. 'We played good football and you could see the commitment of all the players. It was good for our supporters to see.' Republic of Ireland defender Steve Finnan is doubtful for Sunday's game after taking a kick on his calf. |
Jackal: debosky: Jackal: Jackal:Kai na wah for people ooo Fools and Illiterates would never be able to read the words: Liverpool F.C Fans Zone I just don't know why Jackal would jump classes and end up on Liverpool's thread. Its unfortunate. They are not even ashamed that they keep bothering us on our own thread. ![]() Well, they are welcomed but they should behave themselves for once. Maturity counts on this thread |
Guys, what do you think about the way Torres is beginning to warm his way into the hearts of the KOP? And Babel, who is now scoring in all games he comes in as a substitute?, Do they warrant a place in the hall of fame now? |
A draw would both sides good, Crazykid is too childish for NAiraland. I recommend that the administrators remove him or her or it from the forum. |
