student visa. I heard it's possible, but I doubt. Reason being that you are a student and you have to take care of yourself and your spouse. It will cost a lot more. My advice would be to travel first, study, learn the language and get a good paying job. By then you wouldn't have problems bringing your spouse or kid over. Your spouse could start learning German now, so finding job won't be hard by then
