AutosRe: Welcome To Cotonou Buying And Clearing by kuma007(m): 5:13pm On Feb 10, 2015
It appears you only deal in big cars going by the pics posted so far. But am only interested in low profile car. How much can one get Mazda 323 year 2000 or 2001. Also Nissan almeria 2000 or 2001 not wagon type. Then the likely amount of clearing to lagos. Am a serious prospective buyer but I want to know if my budget is enough. Thanks.
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: #Startimes Thread# by kuma007(m): 10:19am On Jul 09, 2014
RI have been a startimes subscriber since 2010 and i think they have good service in Lagos. But recently i tried to connect the decoder to other television in the bedroom through the loop out terminal at the back of the decoder. Having laid the necessary wire with the help of a local technician and made the connection, it was discovered the loop out was not working to my great surprise and dismay. Another subscriber confirmed that his loop out too is not working. I have friends who use Gotv and connected to multiple televisions through RF and with this I a
have decided to abandon their decoder for them and switch to Gotv.
IslamRe: Another Baby Born With Quran In Lagos by kuma007(m): 7:35am On Jun 20, 2013
Allah(SWT) brings out the living from the dead and brings out light from darkness. Without ruling out the possibility of the happening, but I think we should look at the whole thing more closely. And more importantly, we should avoid celebrating things like this but to be dutiful to Allah always. And don't forget, assuming it is true, any generation of the past that received signs similar to this always witness destruction or punishment thereafter. May Allah make our feet firm on the path of islam.
PoliticsRe: Is KORO The Real Messiah For Lagos State?? by kuma007(m): 10:49pm On Jun 09, 2013
I think the OP is not taking the hint emerging from the people's reaction here and trying to put something on nothing as expecting it to stand robs even the most honourable man an iota of respect in the mind of even the kids. Sometimes, I think people tend to defend what is what is conspicuously fallible for money. I know the OP won't say all these things when his identity is known in public. But I advice you look at the political climate in Lagos State or Nigeria before agreeing to be the mouth piece of any politician.
PoliticsRe: Is KORO The Real Messiah For Lagos State?? by kuma007(m):
I am a typical Isale Eko boy where KORO emerged and I don't have any interest in politics. I don't even vote. What I know in Lagos Island is that KORO is not what you have made him look like even among PDP stalwarts. I remember prior to the 2007 election, PDP members of a particular ward confessed to collecting money from him without voting for him as payback for what his past with them. In fact, I think PDP lost in that election because they fielded KORO.He even lost in his own ward. Most people here don't even respect him. Don't be decieved by the mere fact they touts hangs around him whenever he checks in. All they want is cash to enjoy themselves. KORO has lost it here. The only good thing I can remember him for was when I was writing my 'junior WAEC' as we used to call it at Isale Eko Grammar School, Lagos then, KORO as the Lagos Island LG Chairman distributed Okin biscuits one each for a student daily throughout the exams and as students then we appreciated it. And I will never forget a reported incident that some people meeting KORO for help and informed him that they voted for him. He blatantly told them to remove their votes from the number of votes casted for him.I know KORO's relative that died because they could not afford 50K for operation after they met KORO as the chairman LILG for assistance but promised a long date to come for the money. I don't have anything to gain or lose in lieing against KORO but what I don't like is trying to make an ant look like an elephant.

IslamRe: A Quranic View On Boko Haram And The Muslim's Perspective by kuma007(m): 8:10pm On May 18, 2013
May Allah reward the OP abundantly for this effort. But I must quickly point out that a violent muslim is not like that merely because he is a muslim. Everyone has his natural instinct to contend with. Now, how are we sure those bombing everywhere are muslims? I have read a story in india where some religious group, (not christians)dressed like muslims and chanting some Quranic verses took a cow to the front of the Bhudist shrine and slaughtered it. This expectedly led to the killing and maiming of muslims around. It was a plan to give the muslims a bad name to hang them. Muslims are the best of mankind ever in existence as we enjoin good and forbid evil. 'Iman shakiran, wa iman kafuran'

Nigerians seem comfortable in the arms of hope even when the climate tells them it is unsafe to embrace hope for more than reasonable time. I like you guys courage and I wish you all the best.

Christianity EtcRe: In Whose Name Do Atheist Swear In Court? by kuma007(m): 7:55pm On Jun 23, 2012
@barristerlawyer: well said my learned friend. Just to add that people who are known to be devotee of a particular faith who choose to affirm in court stand the risk of attaching very light weight to their evidence. That is why most of these popular men swear by the scripture and still lie.

if u say it is their money, u are right and if u also say it is our money u are also right. but i know that if u own something and u give a part to someone, u hav given him all the right attached to the money. there are so many religious bonuses to civil servants throughout the country just that they are not enacted by way of legislations. each and everyonr of us should check our respectives states too.the late okadigbo was never a muslim, bt claimed to have bought ileya ram with 'our money'.

I dont think the front door strictly speaking has been opened.Calling successful applicants does not conform with standard practice esp for a nationwide recruitment of this magnitude. how many people will they call? if at all they want to call, it will not be in ineplicable piecemeal as the calls will be made as a whole maybe on selected days. this is just an opinion. no attacks pls

This is my post number 2 since becoming part of this thread.i monitor postings on daily basis and i commend the effort of those who had been in the front burner in making sure they source for information. I dont want to mention names, but they know themselves. Also no thanks to those who are just here to deface this thread with junks and those who are here just to play with our emotions. For those that have sources pls keep on with the good job and as for those on the other side, pls let's be calm and prayerful and stop posting junks. It is well insha Allah.

IslamRe: Muslim Women & Polygamy: Would You Tolerate A 2nd Wife? by kuma007(m): 2:14pm On Oct 31, 2011
Polygamy is not only peculiar to Islam. Some cultures in this country permits unguided polygamy but that of Islam is guided and restricted one. The fact that one who is only a muslim by name abuse the privilege of polygamy does not give room for its discredibility. I agree with bhusayor that polygamy is meant to promote chastity among men rather than messing up. That is not compesation or whatever. It is just to maintain the sanctity of the society. If you see practising muslims who really understand the religion practise polygamy, i think anyone with a pre-concieved and/or biased notion about polygamy in islam will have a rethink. You need to understand the nitty gritty of polygamy as laid down by Islam for you to open your mouth and talk about it. Polygamy as practised in islam is different from the way it is practised in other setting. so dont use what obtains in your culture as a yardstick for ours.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: NSITF Interview In August by kuma007(m): 12:59pm On Oct 26, 2011
My good people, I dont think we have to allow anxiety to take over our emotions and hopes as far as this nsitf job is concerned. From my humble view, I think the so called chat they invited applicants for was the last stage as i saw that as verification and documentation stage. In fact, one applicant who was beside me all through was full of confidence that anyone whose name was on the list had gotten the job. I ask him how sure he was, he told me not to bother. When we eventually entered the room together, i discovered he was very familiar with those handling the process as they exchanged pleasantries in a familiar way. On the issue of federal character, i think the agency's list was in compliance with this as another applicant told me there that prior to the chat invitation message, the agency called him to verify his state of origin and when he told them, he got the sms the following day. If anyone was interested in hijacking some slots, it would have been done at the test level, not at this stage. it is only those that did not show up for the chat that would have themselves to be blamed because they will substitute their names with others so that they can meet the desired target number of staff. Best of luck. Have I spoken well?
