I get it. I agree everyone should have the same starting point, but REALITY is the world doesn't work like that. Life is NOT fair.

All babies born in 2023 won't have the same starting point, some will be taller, smarter or stronger than others. That's before adding family advantages, tribe or religion etc.

Nigerians - especially university educated Nigerians - should be pursuing FREEDOM for Nigerians.

Freedom to buy and sell whatever they want from anyone they want at whatever prices they want with a stable currency that enables buyer and seller to make reasonable bargains.

So we should be demanding a FREE energy market. Government should NOT be a participant in any way. Everything should be allowed, including importation. But sadly it's not likely to happen because "educated" Nigerians are generally ignorant and corrupt.

The Dangote Refinery is a small step in the right direction but there's a lot more steps needed to repair the Nigerian economy.
