Like I said before, check my first comment on the thread and you'll understand I have no problem with pharmacy. And like I did earlier, lemme lecture you and your dullness again. Frankel Grade A is not a pharmacy grade, I pray Google rescue you before you get totally drowned in the ocean of ignorance.
You are not even ashamed of yourself, olodo ,common frankel grade A, you don't know. Selah

Lwkmd! What level have you attained academically? Yeye imp
The highest you can obviously be is a masters holder evidenced by the way you showcased your ignorance and unintelligence by asserting Pharm chem and micro are subspecialties of pharmacology. On a candid note, you're the dullest person I've ever seen online.Hopelessness is running through your veins.Just cover your ugly face in shame. You're apparently next to nothing,a pharmacologist whose career doesn't go beyond the four-walls of the classroom, sorry to say,but the truth's bitter.
Juxtaposing the magnanimous "pharmacy" wt Grade A, grin grin grin grin
I'll leave you to keep wallowing in your pool of stupidity and ignominy.
Framing up denigratory conjectures to tarnish its reputation will do you no good.

Well said I'm sure this person wasn't lucky to read Pharmacy.maybe screened out of the department.reason for the beef.in dese country today so many oil and gas guys wana divulge into the Pharmacy business today. Last year the former MD of Bank PHB spoke to me one and one about the opportunities of chain pharmacies in Nigeria.which he would like to key into.i gave him the necessary information he needed not without collectyn my consultation fee though.today he has started his own Pharmacy employing Pharmacist to use their license and paying them handsomely. The Pharmacy is in VI in lagos.and he is looking to expand.currently as we speak there are plans for the big Retail chain Pharmacies abroad to cum into the Nigerian market (boots, wallgreens).a lot of potentials are yet to be untapped in the Pharmaceutical industry.the future is very bright for a young Pharmacist in Nigeria today.of course u have to be streetwise, know ur onions, network, bargain very well and most of all develop urself.ull be amazed at how well ull do over tyme.a lot of opportunities exist for Pharmacies in the country and beyond.new Mulltinational Pharmaceutical companies are cuming into the country each year.they employ Pharmacist and pay them the way they pay their Medical representatives in other countries.when u work under someone and u make enough money u can decide to start ur own.the key is getting a good location I'm talking of retail Pharmacies here.if u check the trend now most people don't wana go to the hospital and pay huge bills while they can just get into the Pharmacy and speak wt a Pharmacist and get quality drugs wt less hazzle.not all Pharmacist are rich, some are average, but none is poor at least they earn more dan the minimum wage.but most Pharmacist fall between the middle class and high class.we are better off than most doctors cos we don't depend on Federal Government jobs like most of them.we are far better off on our own in our private business.
And a Pharmacist and Pharmacologist are different.a Pharmacist is a drug expert who knows everytyn about drug production, drug interaction, sourcing of drug materials,Pharmacy regulation.he has a license to import and export drugs, distribute, counsel and administer drugs to patients based on his vast knowledge of drugs.

A Pharmacologist on the other hand. Just learnt about one aspect of Pharmacy which is the study of drug usage, interaction, adverse effect notyn else.he doesn't know hw the drug is produced nor how the raw materials are sourced cos his scope his limited to wat the drug does and just information about the drug on the body.in Nigeria It's only 2 schools that offer Pharmacology as a B.sc course which is Unilag and Delsu.

Pharm techs on the other hand just handle dispensing and countyn of drugs. A Pharm technologist is not a B.sc Holder it's just a 3 year programme and u bag a technical certificate.there is one at Yaba school of health technology a department of Pharm technology.so don't get it all mixed up they are different from each other.
thanks for dis clarification,,,more kulikuli to ur garri.
Moreso, oou is also among those schls that offer pharmacology and the course is just like a pure science to dem

All they do is sell drugs to patients in hospitals on presentation of prescription notes given to em by doctors. They neither prescribe nor deliver the drugs. Anybody with ssce or other higher degrees can do that.

Its either you re not being completely honest or u were just lucky and I will give u facts
1.as a pharmacist you re not allowed to register more than one shop..if you want to own another shop you must hire another pharmacist
2.if u work in any government establishment. .u re not allowed to register a shop
3.there re so many unemployed pharmacists in the country which is why some of them re sales rep to men with capital
4.the salary scale of an entry pharmacist is grade 10 which is the same as a graduate with any professional certificate to his cv
5.a pharmacist can earn better in a pharmaceutical industry just like an english graduate can higher in if he or she works for the un
6.if u dont have passion for Pharmacy. .u will be miserable
7.the golden age of making serious profits from the pharmaceutical industry re over as there re more strict rules now unlike when u can just without the problem of nafdac which is why men like juhel and orange re seriously diversifying
