regarding the ranking. she ranked 103 among the jambites. 100 students were admitted in all for medicine. but those 100 were not all jambites. direct entry admissions were included. ur logic here does not take the direct entries into consideration.

and I don't think its nice to call the provost names. he should be applauded for showing concern (if its really is true that the reply is from him). most university dons I know wouldn't care a hoot cos they know there's nothing anyone can do about it in this Godforsaken country!

Mr provost Sir,
Please do the maths again and make the necessary corrections.
Then reach out to her asap with an admission letter.

From your equation, she scored 79 instead of what you presented!
it was what the lady supplied during screening registration dat they calculated for her

See The person shouting vc list and tomorrow you will be shouting that nigerian education system is substandard.
See those people, supporting and sympathizing with the corrupt.

I don't believe your cheap propanganda.

If you want, people to believe your provost publish the admission list of your school and everyone will believe what you are saying and If not I buy your story.

I don't have any business with oau And I don't pray to, my concern is the bright future of a young nigerian lady that your provost want to destroy, by admitting candidates with lesser marks than that young lady.

I know you don't have a conscience but please pity that girl And admit her into medicine.
Mr Ojuro,i understood your points and your pain for the young brilliant lady but what i want u to know is dat u dont have any evidence that they admit candidates with lesser mark just like dat.As we have all seen, the girl didnt meet the cutoff and OAU admit strictly on merit.Some1 said b4 that the girl should have tried her luck by discussing with one or nore person in the department. Those who had lesser score and got admitted are those that have long leg and have met with some people.
Education / Re: Provost Of Health Sciences Oau Gives Reasons Why Mrs Aror Wasnt Admitted by Kunlexic(m): 6:34am On Dec 23, 2016
toothyGrin:
Nonsense!

First of all, the provost does not know his basic arithmetic. Those grades he listed amounts to 50 points for 8 subjects. Now he repeated physics (where she scored her lowest) twice instead of adding the 8th subject. So her points should be somewhere above 50, which would give her at least 78.13% for O'level and 80% for UTME. On aggregate with that score, she'd turn out to score 79% which is above their cut off.

Then he said she ranked 103 on the list of those who chose medicine as first choice (based on her wrongly calculated scores). In the same breath he added that there are 56 candidates who scored higher than her but didn't make the cut-off. So it means they gave admission to the best 46 candidates and handpicked picked 54 others who didn't rank as high as 103.

Shame on this provost who doesn't know basic arithmetic! Shame on these Nigerian universities. undecided
Dont just vituperate some1 u didnt know who he is and iam sure the provost will have born you 10x . Don't you see the uploaded picture of the screening summary report?

Mr Adesegun Fatusi, I challenge u to publish d admission list of this dept within 48 hours or I will take d school authority to court.
if u like take ham to efcc/icpc or the national assembly, nothing can be done since the lady cant provide evidence to backing it up she was deprived of the admission. The provost has cleared the air, she can only be admitted only by luck once she dnt meet cutoff.

ok I just got this .....

HOW TO TRACE A MISSING OR STOLEN PHONE

If you lose your mobile phone, you can trace it without going to the police.

Most of us always fear that our phones may be stolen at any time.

Each phone carries a unique
IMEI no. i.e. International Mobile Equipment Identity No which can be used to track it anywhere in the world.

This is how it works:

1. Dial *#06# from your mobile.

2. Your mobile phone shows a unique 15 digit.

3. Note down this number at a secure place except in your mobile phone itself as this is the number which will help trace your phone in case of theft.

4. Once stolen, just E-mail this 15 digit IMEI No. to cop@vsnl.net with details as stated below:

Your name:____________________
Address:______________________
Phone model:_________________
Make:_________________________
Last used No.:_________________
E-mail for communication:_____
Missed date:___________________
IMEI No :_______________________

5.Your Mobile will be traced within next 24 hours via a complex system of GPRS and internet, You will find where your hand set is being operated and the new user's No. will be sent to your email.b
6. After this, you can inform the Police with the details you now have.

PLEASE SHARE THIS VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE. Hope it will help you someday.
how real is dis?

How will I dial the code #06# without asking me to select the network to send it*
