In 1955 a group of few people that comprise parents whose children have cystic fibrosis formed the cystic fibrosis foundation in the United States. Those halls gained the noble reputation that they have not by beauty and designs but by knowledge, adherence to the sunnah, honesty, transparency, simplicity and other traits which the students found in their leaders, they loved us and we loved them.

Awo hall mosque and Faj hall mosque are a milestone in the lives of all those who passed through them despite the leaking roof and ugly wiring.

I don't know pharmacy school is day challenging until I see the result pasted for last session at our faculty.... too many resit, repeat and withdrawal.

You know if we say we won't join them to make policy,they may arrive at a policy that won't favour us. That is one of the reason why Pharm Siji Olamiju said they should add political pharmacy to our curriculum during our pans week formal opening ceremony

I just resumed 1st year Pharmacy in OAU and the hustle is already real.. My classes have been from 8 to 6pm, it's crazy. And we must not fail any course even a one unit course or you repeat the year. I just pray I survive by God's grace.. we are Pharmally!!

8-6pm in part 1?....u will have some breaks between those hours. Maybe u mean every Monday after morning lecture,u go for 3hrs chemistry practical and from there u run to odlt for MTH(5-6pm) but for the other days in the week,we dnt normally have lecture anytime after 1:00pm except when we have practical class.

Ya I know my score is high but my waec fall hand big time (Eng-B3,Maths-C6,Chem-C5,Phy-C6, Bio-C4....). Due to the fact that post ume exam has been scrapped, I don't know if my final cutoff will be up to their departmental cutoff mark. So am thinking of changing institution. Unizik comes to mind because it has Anambra as it's primary catchment area, so I stand a bigger chance there.

Nevertheless I want to confirm that they have a standard pharmacy school.

Your utme score is 70% of the total aggregate while ur o-level carries 30%. And from ur o-level,your best 8 subjects will be computed(not 5) with ;
A1-8 point
B2-7 point
B3 = 6,
C4 = 5,
C5 = 4,
C6 = 3, and so on.
The maximum points will be 64 (i.e A1 = 8 X 8 subjects).
You then convert to 30% (Assuming you have A1 in all 8 subjects,then 64/64 * 30%
Ur utme score/400 * 70
Then addition of the utme point(over 70) and o-level point(over 30) is ur aggregate.


You shd have known ur aggregate by now. Since u said u are from Anambra which is not among ELDS,u have to meet the merit cut-off...best of luck bro.

Which school do you suggest?
Am just looking for a school where I can study pharmacy and be confident that I'm acquiring standard skills obtainable in Nigeria. I mean I just want to study in a standard school of pharmacy. I choose OAU in my jamb but with my 285 score I'm thinking of changing school. I don't want to stay extra year at home.

I've checked the Nigeria University ranking and uniport is currently in tenth position. That's why I'm considering it. Also due to the fact that unizik has a whole campus (Agulu) dedicated to it, I'm also considering it.

Do you have any other options or do I go for unizik as you have suggested?
