Wike is live on channels TV, and I think his making a whole lots of sense concerning the NDA and how their actions is affecting the whole South south revenue and development.
He said 'it's normal for our people to hold grievances, but it's criminal for them to destroy government properties. He asked rhetorically who suffers more from their actions, the south South region. He also said anyone in support of the NDA action is an enemy of the south South. Because it's they who suffers insecurity, lose foreign investors, more polluted land and reduced revenue. And that the south South governors already met with the president on how to tackle the issue.

When Jonathan pulled back from fuel subsidy removal in 2012, I told my friend that Jonathan would make a very bad president.
So instead of the PDP guys to ask for apology for him, they should instead hang their heads in shame and apologise to Nigerians for producing him as president.

Good leaders don't listen to what the people say. They rule according to their own vision of what is right. They refuse to be arm twisted or cajoled, because they realise that, in the end, the buck stops at their desk .

In Baronness Margaret Thatchers first year in office, as British Prime Minister, she carried out reforms which forced civil servants to call a general strike that lasted for six full months. That strike did not make her change her mind. The people called her all sorts of names, but she didn't give in. Her reforms changed Britain for good and they are enjoying the fruits of those reforms today.

That is effective leadership.

Nigeria needs someone tougher than Margaret thatcher.

Nigeria would have been able to pay for subsidy and stay balance the dollar rate if diezani and cronies hadn't loot our reserves to near empty.
Well they say she's from their tribe and the Oil belongs to them, who am I to complain.
But the funniest thing is that the highest beneficiaries from diezani were yorubas, making these same set of people salivating. Looters don't care about tribe, they share the loot based on interest.

Quite true, Muslim communities have higher moral standings and therefore less incidences of these acts.

However, the real issue is the bigotry and double standards you see from southern non-Muslims, whenever a Muslim is guilty of such offence; that is when they will descend to blame the person's religion, tribe and region forgetting worst happenings in their own backyard - ironically, when it comes to blame, you will find a high incidence rate of rape and paedophilia among their men of God i.e. their pastors and priests.

They are trying to win souls through cheap blackmail of islam. But what they don't know is that, what they wanna blackmail us with we have loads of similar and deadlier cases about them in our gallery and record book.

It is not a sin to wait if you can!

I only gave the case of menstruation as a reference point. You can't deny that's how it happened in the past and we never heard of any problem associated with it. They went through that process and it worked for them.
In my text you never see me mention child marriage but early marriage. Try read comprehensively before quoting me.

Our religion is different from yours, it looked into the future and knows things like this won't be evitable.
Yes Our religion supports early MARRIAGE. But you will never find a Muslim supporting cases of rape, teenage prostitution or sorts using the teachings of the religion. He/she had better make a defense out of personal reasons.
And the issue of early MARRIAGE is not a thing of the present. Even Mary mother of Christ married early.
Not the case of marrying at age 35-40 after loosing every sense of private belongings meant for your husband.
In fact I wonder why the issue of early MARRIAGE should be a thing of condemnation at the expense of critical gender issues.

Mumu, but they are being forced to sexual intimacy. Resulting to unwanted pregnancy just like the case of the akwa ibom girl yesterday.
Too much moral decadence in you guys that you now find forced sex, prostitution more worthy than marriage.
African tradition before the missionary set in. Once a lady have her first menses, she's made to have the next in her husband house. This move prevented cases such as:
Unwanted pregnancy
Abortion
Rape
Old age marriage
Prostitution
But what do we have now, increasing cases of the aforementioned. And take it or leave it, cases like the aforementioned is at a minimal In Muslim dominated societies.

And if you must know, the reason why it's accepted in the north is to deal with silly cases like this. You can't really excuse teenagers from their love for sexual intimacy. So in order to avoid cases like this, they see it as been preferable to child molestation.
Be sincere enough to tell us how many cases of rape, teenage prostitution or incest you hear coming from the north in comparison with the south?
Instead of you raping the child or involving in pre marital sex, why not marry her if you get her consent and that of her parent. I think God will be more pleased with the latter.
