When ever there's a conflict between 2 countries, the USA has never been a mediator of peace amongst them rather they are always willing to support one militarily while they grant aids to the other.
Even the Niger case, they were ever willing to go against international protocol and were more than ready to support ECOWAS militarily in its planned invasion of Niger republic.
They always have weapon to support you in causing chaos but do very little in the helping these countries fight against insurgency.

Secondly, it's only in Africa that people get employed based on nepotism and favoritism.
Google "target schools" and you'll see that there are schools where employers go to recruit fresh graduates irrespective of race, ethnicity or whatever background. Except you don't posses the skills or papers required.

The whites too get underemployed in their countries. Some of them are even jobless while Indians, Pakistanis, Nigerians, etc have their hands full with jobs.

Again, even the whites too take on demeaning jobs till they get something better. So, it is not a function of being a Nigerian student in a foreign land.
