Do any one know if you need to bring cash or debit card to pay for the Reciprocity Fee
B1/B2 $110 ? My mom has her interview tomorrow and was wondering how that is done. Lastly she doesn’t have a debit card, would they accept cash? If cash how much do you take ? Naira or dollars ?

This isn’t meant to
Upset anyone but it’s the honest truth. I would advise anyone intending to study in the USA right now to save your money and use in towards other things or other schools. The political environment doesn’t want foreigners except highly skilled programs doctors, engineers, nursing and other science related program. If you get approved good luck but that is a few in a thousand. It just breaks my heart to see how much money people waste to fill this documentation when they had no chance in the first place.

You don’t qualify, because you can only apply for a work visa that nobody in America can’t do. Maid/nanny doesn’t qualify under than category.

[quote author=democrat101 post=78403796]Good Day everyone! there's this American woman (First Class citizen) I've known for years now. It never occurred to me to discuss traveling with her since I was still in school all those years and doing well plus things was still better off in Nig a little.
fast-forward to now that I'm done with nysc plus finding job been difficult, the current situation of the country and so on. I then informed of my plans to come over to the US to work since I don't have enough funds to go via student route.
She suggested she is going to get me a nanny job (ps I'm a guy) reason been that that's the best way to get me in. she said she's going to convince a rich American Family to sponsor me on work visa etc.
After she told me all this I came online to verify but I didn't see any thing of such kind of visa (nanny work visa) so I need you all to help me shed light to this. Thank yo

That great news. I Feel much better hearing that.

Cyberknight:
I believe they will board you. A friend of mine in your exact same situation (U.S. dual citizen, unable to renew Nigerian passport) was let in last year. With your proof that you are a Nigerian citizen, plus the fact that Nigeria has a visa on arrival scheme so your U.S. passport can get you entry, you will be allowed to board.

Basically, Nigeria is not in a class of countries taken seriously when it comes to such immigration issues and I think the chances of Immigration refusing you entry and fining the airline are slim to non-existent.
TravelTraveling To Nigeria On Expired Passport by Kyankee101(op):
Hey guys I would be traveling to Nigeria on my expired Nigeria passport. I also have my American passport. I paid for the renewal of the Nigeria passport but the embassy did not have the paper. The closest embassy to me which is Atlanta don’t have it. But they say New York does but I can’t make it to New York which would take weeks as I have an emergency travel. I wanted to know if anybody have recently done this in the last few months and what difficulties they faced. I called the airline they will board me so that isn’t a problem. PLS KNOWLEDGEABLE ADVISE welcomed.
