Politics › Re: 2023 Presidency: South West May Reach Consensus Soon – Osinbajo by Kyase(m): 9:03am On May 22, 2022 |
fyneguy: There can't be SE/SS/NE consensus in APC. The interest groups in these zones are too heterogenous. Their SECs are loyal to different groups. No single leader can make them reach a compromise.
For instance, in the SS, Edo is controlled by the ACN caucus. Delta is divided - ACN and nPDP. Akpabio - Akwa Ibom...Ayade and ACN- Cross River. Rivers won't join them, unless Amaechi steps down for the NE-consensus.
In the NE, ACN controls Borno, Adamawa, Bauchi, and Taraba. Gombe is divided. Only Yobe will go with the consensus.
SE is not clear yet. Kalu does not control Abia. Uzodinma might pull Imo into the consensus. Umahi may also deliver Ebonyi for it. Enugu, Anambra are up for grabs. Nice analyses, but I think there will be a general consensus in APC, Buhari is fully in charge of APC now |

Sweetplum: You wan kill her? Or destroy her with her people? Some northerners that condemned boko haram in the early days were killed. The same may be given to ibos that condemned Ipobs. But the Koko is, south east is gone. Ipobs done take over. The govt is too relaxed. They need to fight it all now or allow ipob to get more fatter. Gradually, Nigeria is breaking up. Nigeria is not breaking up, not now, not ever.... South east will be terrorise for years and nothing will happen..... There's something with EAST and terrorism... Middle east, North East, and now south east..... |

Makinde and fayose and the rest are working underground for APC southwest candidate.... Helinues can't deny this |

Dsalvo: Lol. Keep consoling yourself. Which Nigerian political heavyweight has come out to support Obi unequivocally?
North is a no go area for Obi with Atiku, Tambuwal and Saraki running.
SS is not for Obi with Wike expecting a good showing there. Even his own SE seems like mission impossible for Obi currently.
It is a shame Obi has fans even more deluded than he is. What's my business with Obi? Only Atiku can challenge APC |

But my problem is which christian can he peir with among dogara, babachir, boss mustapha, lalong, akume etc.... He may go with a Muslim like lawan, zulum, ganduje He won't try the Muslim, Muslim ticket... I see Dogara or Boss Mustapha its between those two.... But most likely Boss, he need someone from Buhari inner cycle to gain his support.... |

Tinubu already has lagos, kano,Osun, borno, which is about 1200 delegates.can you beat that Whether by consensus or stepping down for another, they are all the same thing By end of this week, we should know where the pendulum will swing to, but now let's wait..... garfield1: I wonder why you rate adamu so highly but let's leave the comparison... Why are you eating lawan ahead of tinubu? The primaries is tinubu's to lose...many will step down for him.anybody that emerges without tinubu blessing will deestrroy apc Wike has this in the bag.those that supported atiku last time are now with wike. Aondoakaa is gathering steam.in my state,,apc has gotten it right Either all these other aspirants step down for Lawan or all including Lawan step down for Amaechi.... There's something cooking between SS/SE politicians against the southwest you don't know, its either it goes north or comes to south east or south south, that's the plan I don't know if its going to be successful, but you will see it happen... Only three real candidates, one is an hybrid..... |
Politics › Re: 2023: APC And The Plot To Keep Presidency In The North by Kyase(m): 3:21pm On May 20, 2022 |
garfield1: With the primaries fixed next werkend, chances of consensus looks bleak.buhari nominated adamu 3 weeks ahead of the convention and appeased everyone a week to the d day.if by Monday, buhari is still mute then tinubu flies the ticket.if secondus could not stop atiku, adamu can't stop tinubu.I see a tinubu vs wike battle or at worst with atiku....honestly,I wish buhari can appease tinubu and bring out someone from ss/se..
Lawan is just there incase atiku emerges though I know tinubu will win atiku.osibanjo and amechi will poll more than lawan Its an insult to compare secondus to Adamu, seriously Well, I'm seeing a collaboration in APC, some candidates will step down for others... Wike can't win the primaries, forget the noise.... The ticket is between Lawan, Tinubu, osibanjo and amaechi in that order |

garfield1: Maku wasn't rigged him.he was far more popular than gov doma as of 2011.I followed that elections.rather, let's say he outrigged pdp with the help of adamu. It is wrong to say adamu doesnt play godfather, every politician is either a godson or godfather.buhari and adamu are passive or dormant godfathers.they are laidback unlike tinubu that is domineering....
No mattter how you look at it,tinubu is the greatest politician.like reno said, only consensus can deny tinubu There won't be consensus, but we'll see |
Politics › Re: 2023: APC And The Plot To Keep Presidency In The North by Kyase(m): 11:41am On May 20, 2022 |
garfield1: How can you say tinubu is no match to adamu when he struggles to control nasarawa? Do you know al makura emerged in 2011 without adamu aid, makura controls Adamawa and almost denied adamu ticket in 2019.his governor was never with him(engr sule). Look at how adamu disgraced himself in the Senate by aligning with saraki and lawan at the same time.without any post,he is as relevant as sen ewuga.adamu perhaps is better than tinubu in destructive politics not progressive politics.my brother,to grow from an opposition to a national party is no mean fear.let's not compare them to tinubu Adamu is just like Buhari, he doesn't intefer or try to play godfather to anyone. Almakura became senator because Adamu help to rig him in, you won't know this one because you are far.... Adamu is a loyalist, reason why he supported Saraki and co, he doesn't want any post in the senate because be believe he was there to retire and not to be working for anybody except his constituent. |
