Yes we all thought we did well. I even saw d satisfactory look on my interviewers' faces, i could swear i'd already gotten d job. Now they are in collaboration with ITF, i expect they would take more than 20. But i also noticed some of them who got the job had been working in Lagos. If u go through dat december thread u would see dat, u would see where they talked about resignation from their previous jobs (i mean the successful candidates). Experience may have edged us out. And u know people in Lagos are most likely to be working compared to people in Enugu and co.

They had recruitment in december. I remember, i wrote my test in enugu, just about 4 of us from enugu made it to the interview in ph, total of people who had the interview in ph was just 36 (4 of us who wrote in enugu plus the porthacourt guys), Lagos people had their interview a week after we did. About 30 of them had interview in Lagos. Afterwards 20 people were taken on the whole. The stipend they were to start with was 25k. They resumed in january 20th or there about. We waited past 5weeks before any of us was contacted. But for some reasons they picked Lagos guys. Those who had their interview in Lagos. Probably they considered home address on cv and proximity to the training centre. After our interview in ph we exchanged nos, we called ourselves across and discovered just one of us seemed to have been contacted. If u didn't have ur interview in Lagos u have to be exceptionally qualified to be called. I don't know about people who wrote in abuja, kadunna and co. But i know majority ( 80 percent) of the people who were called had their interview in Lagos. U can google nbc dragnet 2014. U will find out dat about 16 out of the 20 people called had their interview in Lagos. It might be that the interviewer in Lagos graded them too highly. On another note it was rumoured dat the payment would be 150k after the 18 month trainining. But i know for sure some of u guys would be employed as managers (as though u passed through management trainee recruitment) after the interview based on performance. I didn't get the job then, it pained me, dat was 6 months back, but i thank God dat my current job now pays me more than 10 times (their monthly stipend) monthly. Goodluck you guys. And if u miss d job don't worry much sometheing better is coming. Am a testimony.

Congratulations friends pls, those that resumed today, do u guys know if they are still going to send out some other mails or is it just u guys that would be absorbed?

It is really painful, seeing as I had to make a lot of sacrifices during the whole exercise. Honestly, I was going to see out d training however long. It's all good, God knows best. Life goes on.

This is painful. That is y I want to be sure if any body who had interview in Ph, got a mail. George two is confusing us by saying he had on the 4th of December, and I remember the receptionist telling us dat 2nd was d last day for PH. Surprised to hear 4th. Please any other person who had interview in ph and was mailed?

They would, they replied when a friend asked to be re-scheduled.

Maybe one of should get to them, send a mail to the address that sent us the interview invite (oluwawumi@nbc, not sure)and ask when they would likely get back to us. I deleted my mails so I no longer have d address, if not I would have sent d mail myself.

Sales rep when did u guys write ur aptitude test and when did u have ur interview? (Is it for Nigerian bottling company?)

They were contacted on monday I guess, cos my friend got regret mail on monday. I mean the management trainee. Technician trainee will likely be dis coming monday

No, i told them money isnt my major concern at this stage of my career..and that 25k doesnt discourage one bit cos i stand to gain a lot more from the trainee program than from monetary gain. Something like that.

during my interview, I was asked how much I earn already. .I said fifty something. then they asked me why I would want to leave that kind of a job to a job that would pay less than half of that. Inferring that it is about 25k!!!

on the publication, it was even written that a "cost of living allowance" will be paid for the duration of the one year training!

So did u tell them u wouldn't take the offer?

I am talking about management trainees not technician trainees. I don't know how much technician trainees collect for sure

I have it on authority that management trainee is 2.2 milla per anum before tax and pension. Their actual take home during the 15 months training is over 150k after tax and pension. I don't know about technician.

So did they tell any of you when they would likely get back to us? Or when would the training likely start?
