Nearly 3 Million Chinese Android devices that uses Ragentek OTA update machanism worldwide are vulnerable to Man-in-the-Middle (MITM), yeah! That’s the name. The job of the Man-in-the-Middle is to allow hackers to remotely execute arbitrary code with root privileges, turning over full control of the devices to hackers.

The vulnerable OTA mechanism, which is associated with Chinese mobile firm Ragentek Group, has a hidden binary which resides as “/system/bin/debugs” that runs with root privileges and communicates over unencrypted channels with three hosts via HTTP request:

oyag[.]prugskh[.]net
oyag[.]prugskh[.]com

The Ragentek firmware neither encrypt the communications sent/received, to/from smartphones nor rely on code-signing to validate legitimate apps and invalidate non legitimate apps.

This Android firmware by Chinese firm Ragentek could allow a remote attacker to extract personal information from an affected device. I have heard stories of a phone wiping itself automatically, this could be a reason for it. This flaw even make it possible to gain access to other systems on a corporate network and steal sensitive data.

New research found that the average smartphone user holds the handset 30 cm from their face - with some people holding it just 18cm away - compared to newspapers and books, which are held 40cm away from the eyes.

According to Mr Allamby, excessive screen watching at close proximity keeps the genes that control myopia activated well beyond the age that short-sighted would historically have stabilized - about 21. Myopia used to stop developing in people’s early 20s but now it is now seen progressing throughout the 20s, 30s, and even 40s.

Mr Allamby said: ‘If things continue as they are, I predict that 40 to 50 per cent of 30-years-old could have myopia by 2033 as a result of smartphones and lifestyles in front of screens an epidemic we call screen sightedness. ‘People need to ensure they limit screen time wherever possible even by going outside without their phone for a period of time each day (getting out into the sunshine has been shown to reduce the progression of short-sight), and also seriously consider the age at which they give their children a smartphone.’ Mr Allamby says today's children are most at risk of myopia – with children as young as seven being given smartphones.

Research has shown that a very specific type of brain activity, called ‘gamma activity’, is present in the frontal lobes during lucid dreams. This gamma activity is associated with consciousness.

I checked d dimension of Xperia z yesterday, its pouch will surely fit, dey r having same dimension just a very slight difference which I believe won't matter

If u r concerned about d Sim issue, all u have to do is make sure d Sim goes in freely, if it's not scrape d sides or top of d Sim, that won't cause expansion and problem in d Sim port. And d thermal issue I think d hotness is OK, it gets hot when charging and pressing together.

@ Labellat , chief even if you change your default wall paper on kit Kat ,there is no black band / or status bar on the top of your screen.

Lock your infinix zero , the blue and red default lock screen is clear no black band but on the UI it's there . Confirmed it from my friends lg g3.
