Well, someone told you it wouldn’t affect your case, and you asked again, so I was wondering why you would think it would e.g. you found some information online that gave you some concerns or something.

Hmm. It is well. Thank you very much.

I will live my laif; I have no choice now.

The travelling status of my family has two options. It is either I click FOLLOW-TO-JOIN or I choose ACCOMPANY.

Either of the two options will allow my family to follow me to the US when the appointed time eventually comes.

I chose ACCOMPANY option for my family.

My question is: Is the FOLLOW-TO-JOIN route faster?
Either route doesn’t matter, if you had chosen follow-to join you would still be moved to the new category. Because your current category is for unmarried applicant, and you got married your will be moved to the married applicant category which has a longer wait.

Hello everyone here

Please my dad filed a petition for my siblings and I. As unmarried son and daughter above 21. My elderly sister who is married decided not to inform NVC of her marriage because of her own reasons. She still uses my dads surname but has a marriage certificate. Is there anyway the embassy will investigate to find out if she’s is legally married. She is not using her husband’s name. Does the embassy really do this investigation at the court?
She’s is actually 40 years with 5 children. Will her age and number of children raise any concern to investigate about her marital status?
No one can answer the question on whether or not the embassy will do an investigation. They have the ability to do it, and your sister was supposed to disclose that she is married. Obviously you are aware of the risk of the embassy finding out, I guess she will find out at the time of interview if the did or didn’t do an investigation

Please I want to ask a question I’m 20 turning 21 next month and my category is f22 which is f2a
Will it change to f2b after my birthday?
I can’t say for sure, but when I had my F2A interview years ago, I was 24, and was given the visa. I remember this being a concern. I think if you are single with no children, they will give you.

I am on the 120 days wait already. .... Though what matters is the pace of interviews in various embassies... F4 will get earlier dates.... Because they have earliest dates of documentary qualification.
Right, Thanks. Was just trying to get a sense of pace. Was hoping you would have gotten an interview letter already, since your PD is one month from the earlier commenter who said an acquaintance already got visas. Guess we will never know for sure the pace at which the embassy is moving, we just have to wait.

Hi everyone
Please my dad filed a petition for my siblings and I with different I-130 but with the same priority date. We all have children as derivatives.

Please is it possible we will get different interview dates since we all have different 1-130?
Yes, it is possible. My sibling and I got different interview dates (a day apart).

How long does it take to actually get the green card after paying for it
Greencards are issued after arrival in the US. I know a person that got his within 3 weeks of arrival and another it took about 6months due to a typo in her name. With COVID and all, I would say within 3 months if no issues, it could be much less than 3months. Immigration tries to get it out to you as soon as possible because you need it to work.

Please, medicals was done in 2019 but interview was cancelled due to the COVID. Now interview is rescheduled, but new medicals is needed since the previous one already expired (more than 6months).

Medicals was done at Q-life. Do I need to pay for all the vaccines and test previously done? Or how much do you think one will spend for a new medicals.

What is the best way to go about this in order to cut down the ridiculous fees?

Thank you.
Hi, congratulations on your rescheduled interview, what category are you in? And was the interview rescheduled after the proclamation or before?
