Greetings Oga Lade, it's the Peugeot Expert Tepee fella again. If you don't mind giving me a few minutes of your time, please I still have a few questions.

I'll like to know if certain customizations are possible (after you must have purchased the car) before shipping down to Nigeria. (Talking about pimping/love vending the car, especially the interior).

My questions now are, while I expect such customization to come at an additional cost should it be possible, I'll like to know if it would affect/increase the overall value of the car, hence the shipping and clearing cost?

I'm talking about customizing with features like:
1. A large TV screen
2. PS3
3.Excellent sound system/speakers
4. Fancy interior lighting (All those blue lights)
5. Repainting the car exterior

Would highly appreciate your response.

NB: Road trips can be long, boring and exhaustive, thereby discouraging some folks. So I'm looking at trying to make my(potential) customers clients as comfortable as possible.

Lade007 has done it again, i have never seen someone like him. The mattresses i bought from him was N20,500.00 i.e 50Euro as at the time he bought them. After delivery i transferred the amount into his gtb account, he sent me a chat on whatsapp that he has gotten alert. However, he said i should send my account details to him, that he want to transfer N500.00 to my account as overpayment refund. The gist is this at the time he purchased the mattresses the exchange rate was 1 Euro to N410.00 while at the time of my making payment the rate was 1 Euro to N400.00. Which businessman does this, very rare breed. Thanks for the refund.

Your purchasing power determines the grade of car you can afford; it does not determine the quality or road worthiness of the car.

Nobody who knows anything about cars will support buying a 200k car. In other countries that is referred to add a 'clunker'. The very idea of buying an imported used car is problematic and only started in Nigeria in the 1990s. If we must do so, we must be circumspect.

The manufacturers warranty should guide you as to what a decent car is. If the previous owner has exhausted the serviceable life of the car then you are on your own when you purchase it.
I recognize the economic situation in the country but it doesn't affect the science and facts of automobile technology.

I want to disagree with this.
Both mileage and maintenance are important. A high mileage vehicle will still be going strong with competent maintenance, and a poorly maintained vehicle will show signs of failing at relatively low mileage.
Personally, I won't advise you to buy a car over 60,000km if you can avoid it. The tendency here in Nigeria is to buy cars with 100,000 km. That is an oooold car. Chassis, transmission , engine, seats, doors and even the electronics would have started to degrade.
The newer the better.

I don't trust pictures much and all this infos can sometimes be confusing.

There is a website in this country (Nigeria) that can save you the hassle out inspection of cars and can guarantee you that the car you are buying really exists and its not a fake ad called kwilist.com.

This website allows you to see a video of the car you want to buy before calling the seller. If you are selling a car, you can record a video of the car (Maximum of 3 minutes and around 250MB maximum file size) and post it on the site for free.

Its only for cars o.
