A new development: Irrespective of whether you have a UK visa or not, yourself and Biodun1234 if you decide to can actually go into the UK for a period less than 48hrs because your layover is more than 12hrs and you have an onward ticket to show alongside either your US, Canada, New Zealand or Australia visa. Just explain yourself appropriately and use the opportunity to see the UK.... Entry isn't 100% guaranteed though, but hardly will you be turned down.
thanks you for this info would try this next time

I also have a 22 hrs layover using virgin too to lax, ladeonas said she paid 50gbp for no1 lounge hotel at the airport so I plan to do so as well.
@julzz, i had a friend who had 22hrs layover as well. we went to virgin customer service in london to move the up, so we left together. try that too. the plane from london to LAX is usually empty. lots of us got to laydown on 3 seats at the same time in the plane.

all the best

Please I want to book Virgin airline to US but the layover is 17 hours for my missionary journey. Please would I be permitted to stay at the airport during the period of the 17 hours layover at London Heathrow to wait for my connecting flight to US
yes you would. i hope the wait wont be too long for u.

try get a lounge to rest for the night, u would have to pay for it.

or you book to Newyork, which has a shorter layover. this would depend if you know anyone in Newyork

Hello my dear people, happy new year.

This new year will bring us uncommon testimonies.
I had my princess on the 12th of Dec. 2017. I was so misinformed that I delayed the process in getting her international passport. I got her social security a week after birth. I went to the Dallas passport Agency downtown to get my LO's passport first on the 30th of Dec., I was asked to schedule an appointment which I wasn't aware of the I got earliest appointment date for 2 Jan., 2018.

I got there in time for the appointment and gave all the documents needed only to be told that the notary our DH sends to us is no longer valid as DH has to go to the US embassy in Nigeria to get the notary or be present at the US passport agency.

Apparently, this is a new rule that started yesterday 1 JAN., 2018. DH needs appointment date to get this notary and this is another delay for me as I need to get back to Nigeria soonest. Please, is this the same in your state. The social security is not needed when obtaining the international passport. Let's share this and talk about it.

I wish all our expectant mothers safe delivery in Jesus name.

PS: DALLAS IS FREEZING @ -2/-5.
i didnot date the notary form DH signed. i know the form is valid for just 30days. i am also not going to downtown dallas, would just apply from the closest postal service to me , so they would deliver at my location.

thank God the sun is out today Dallas is @ 7C

Well it takes a while for Dr stimage to respond.
I think you have 2 options.
1. Call Brenda and confirm their position.
2. Walk in to the clinic and book an appointment since the clinic is not far from you.
Best wishes.

Hello everyone,
I am a silent reader, I got into DFW on the 29th of Oct., the queue was something else. I almost collapsed. I went through the first stage where you will do passport reading.

Then I processed to pick my luggage and face the CBP guy.

CBP: How long are you here for?
Me: Till Christmas
CBP: You're pregnant?
Me: Yes
CBP: Do you have family?
Me Yes
CBP: place your finger here.
CPB: Do you have food
Me: yes. The guy stamped me in for 6 months. Nothing was checked nor ceased.

POE was breeze, I am sitting pretty and waiting for my LO. Please pray for me and the day drwas really close. My doctor wanted to induce labor but I refused and my due date is still far away.

Please any Dallas mum in the house, boredom is killing me here.

God bless...

Hi.

can't access my nairaland email so anyone with questions just has to ask it here.
You don't need an appointment to go to the hospital you need to understand that the hospital and the doctor's clinic are separate entities. you can go to the hospital as soon as possible and speak with a financial counsellor. They will give you a list of doctors who have admission priviledges there. A good number of the ob/gyn's have their clinics within the baylor complex so you can just visit them while there and find out their costs as well as if they will take you on depending on how far gone you are. you can then finalise with any one you choose and go back to the hospital to register.

All the best!
please i can you email me the contact details of the doctor and hosp(ladeajayi@yahoo.com)

Hello everyone,

In the spirit of giving back, the layover at London was not funny, flew with cig in Atlantic . Had to get a room for 50gbp for the night. Met some great ladies on the trip anyway. The flight from London to LA was empty. I could sleep on 3seats. I got into LAX on the 13th of Dec , no queue, it was auto passport checkin .

Then I processed to pick my luggage and face the CBP guy.

CBP: How long are you here for?
Me: 4months
CBP: What are u here for?
Me: Xmas and delivery next year
CBP: Anyone flighting with u today
Me: No
CPB: Do you have food
Me: yes. The guy stamped me in for 6 months
CBP: go to agric
Collected all the fruit I got on the plane

It was a breeze, I am seeing the town and waiting for my LO. Please pray for me. My doctor wants CS and my due date is still far away.
