The former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido stormed Yola, Adamawa state on Tuesday to canvas for the support of PDP delegates ahead of the party's primary election.
Sule Lamido who met with the PDP Exco at the State party secretariat in Yola was received by party delegates, and stalwarts.

Lamido took a swipe at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other leaders who deserted the PDP during it's trying times. He told delegates to narrow down to credible aspirants who have shown diehard commitment to the party and not politicians who carpet cross all the time.

He charged the delegates to look away from politicians who are wont to abandoning their party during heated times, saying they don't deserve the party’s platform to vie for any political office.

Lamido said PDP as a party was vilified, demonized and some of the senior party members who became governors, senators, vice President and even president under the PDP, played to the gallery by ditching the party.

The Independent National Electoral commission INEC will on Wednesday issue a certificate of return to the Ekiti Governor-Elect Kayode Fayemi. Fayemi was declared the winner of the Ekiti state Governorship election conducted last Saturday.

The Detained Former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki Retired, may regain his freedom this Tuesday.
Counsel for Dasuki, Ahmed Raji on Tuesday said a letter from the deputy chief registrar of the federal high court, Abuja confirmed that Dasuki has fulfilled all the bail condition imposed on him by the court on july 2, 2018, after which, the DSS is expected to release him in line with the order of the court .

The letter has however been presented to the department of state service under which custody Dasuki has been since December 2015.

Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court in Abuja had on july 2nd, granted bail to Dasuki in the sum of n 200m with two sureties in like sum, making it the fifth time the former NSA will be granted bail.

We call ourselves the giant of Africa, but its quite sad that even the dwarf of America or Asia etc. are doing great things through innovative ideas in every aspect of life.
The competition between Asia and America is raging on, in the aspect of self-driven cars, with a wide variety of players from the tech giants and start-ups vying for the dominance.
But the question here is why aren’t we innovative? Aren’t we thought to think, or is this a case of poor education? Most times I wonder what the rest of the world thinks about our continent, little wonder Donald trump called us a ‘shithole’ continent.��
We are not creative at all; we almost lack the capability or act to conceive something original or unusual.
2018, the rest of the world is designing self driven cars to take kids to school, send people to work, help people with disabilities or without a driver’s license and revolutionize people’s lives and the world transportation systems.
Meanwhile, in Nigeria, we are busy importing ideas and celebrating them, as though we have an idea how the components were designed.
"I think Nigeria, Just like china should start training highly intelligent scientist, with a purpose, not just the usual send graduates abroad without a purpose’. There are two reasons why the rest of the world is ahead of us, One is that they started earlier. Another is that they really invested a lot in terms of capital and employees."
The gap between Africa and the rest of the world is still there, But having been to America, I have to admit the driving situation in America is somewhat different, because of the unique opportunities there.

Please I need ideas on how to go about getting a job as a TV reporter or talk show host, or a radio presenter. Ever since i was a child, i have been obsessed with the news, and journalism, even tho i studied computer science, I am still in love with journalism. I know thats where my fulfilment lies, but its been impossible to land an opportunity. I am not even bothered about the money, i just need the opportunity to make a difference.
