Nigerian doctors are just doing charity UK will always remain attractive mainly due to the language and Nigerian community therein. So regardless of the relatively low salary, outside of London, earning 4k-5k is a really really good salary. Living in UK is relatively cheaper and Doctors dont need to learn a new language. |

Ctizens of EU countries with bilateral agreements with the UK still retain voting rights in local elections and some devolved elections. These countries include: Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg Poland (some rights based on bilateral agreements) Yes but not General elections. And I believe the post is referring to general elections. |

But hard to believe a 6,606 TEUs vessel is the largest to berth in any Nigeria port. Larger ones have been definitely. |

Cape verde? Very horrible country. Anyways the Nigerians have been released with no explanation or apologies given. Cape verde is a terrible country that hates black. Even black Americans are not spared. Very racist country. They see themselves as Portuguese. There are several cases of ill-treatment and abuse faced by other africans visiting that country. |

When UAE did it on air travel, heaven fall?
Shiooooorrr. They banned tourist visas during the period of Hajj. Last year lots of people visited Saudi on tourist visas and then overstay into the Hajj period. It is to avoid the disaster that happened last year Hajj where over 1000 people died. |

If not stupidity, how can one think Saudi will ban Nigeria, Egypt, Morrocco and other such countries from performing Hajj?

Politics › Re: Rivers Government Reacts To Assembly's Move To Impeach Governor Fubara by LaIabobo: 10:38am On Mar 18, 2025 |
Governors know how important it is to gain control of the house of assembly. The constitution gives them a lot of oversight power and no governor can govern a state without their support. That was why Fubara tried installing his person as speaker but unfortunately lost. This is also why Sanwo-Olu is trying to remove Obasa in Lagos.
The federal government should step in and resolve this rivers matter asap. Else, I see activation of several militant groups in Rivers. |

So? Why is this on front page? This news doesn't justify Nigeria prices. UK residents on minumum wage mostly can use one day's wage to pay their 24/7 energy bills for the month.
In Nigeria, more than half the monthly minimum wage is needed to pay for unavailable electricity. |

Travel for 6 months to nigeria to see friends and families and other countries to clear your head and figure out life. Every adult is going thru stress and if not checked well it can be depressing. adicius: Murtala Mohammed international airport needs to be demolished and a new modern suitable one built to replace. This terrible airport was built by the British in the 1970s to accommodate 300,000 passengers a year. Now it's 2025 and it accommodates 3 million and is a users nightmare. All this new gates are just paper over the cracks.
Let's hope Lagos state builds lekki airport soon to put M.M international airport to shame A disgrace to the nation.
Next time you travel, use the new terminal and MMIA and get enlightened. The norm is for airports to be upgraded not demolished.

That country is too unstable for any new investment. Even existing businesses are struggling and closing up.
There is barely any safety net if something goes wrong with your investment.
Since you’re already considering japa, please do so legally. Shalom |
