Someone needs to advise this clueless government that they are driving up prices of items with this bulk purchases.

They keep mopping up commodities from the market in the name of non-existent palliatives.

Business / Re: CBN Raises Interest Rate To 26.25 % Amid Soaring Inflation Levels by LaIabobo: 3:35pm On May 21
Paraman:
The steps taking by the CBN so far has made inflation rate slow down. By may, June or July, inflation should start falling

Inflation is around 33% while costs of goods have risen over 250%

Nigeria economy defeats even the best economic policy/principles.

The problem cant be solved using inflation rate or reducing the amount of money in circulation.

The fundamental issues to be addressed are insecurity, energy costs and stable exchange rate.

Unwarranted killings everyday…. Omooor.

Where is his picture?

What happened to those officers arrested for killing innocent civilians in the past? the cases have gone cold.

The judiciary is the hope of a common man. Until we fix that, there will continue to be injustice.

And you wonder why people Japa?? This is why Nigeria’s life expectancy is 56 years.

If you have the means, leave Nigeria. Starting afresh is hard but you’ll be better in maximum of 5 years.

It took you years to be comfortable in Nigeria, so don’t expect a miracle abroad. But the moment you land, even your body and soul will know that goodness abound.

Travel / Re: Man Shows The Outdoor Camp Occupied By Hundreds Of Nigerians In Dublin (video) by LaIabobo: 3:09pm On Apr 02
Trash talk. Nigeria was not mentioned anywhere in the video.

Nigerians are not even one of the highest number of asylum seekers in Europe. Talks like these irritate me a lot.

The person recording this video didnt even mention Nigerians but one fool chose to add his country name to the video for content purposes.

The way we sell our country badly will come back to hunt us very soon.

People from eastern europe, somalia, sudan, ethopia cross the sea in crazy numbers but you’ll never see their home countrymen portray them in this manner.

Business / Re: N500b Capital Base: Capital Needed By Commercial Banks With International Spread by LaIabobo: 9:53pm On Mar 29
Lanruze:
Check the valuation well. It's true that Opay has a higher valuation than Zenith Bank.

Take it or leave it, it's a two (2) year myth that has stunned the industry.

Opay is an international country with major presence in Nigeria. As such it's business cuts across a global space. The valuation captures it's total Global Assets.

You shouldn’t just believe valuation of private companies , especially fintechs o.

Banks are public companies and we can all verify their valuation every day on stock exchange. Zenith is currently valued over 1trillion naira. But Based on your news, Opay’s last valuation is around 822billion naira.

Finesse247:
U dey whine Opay? Don't play!
Opay can buy 3 banks. But that's not their strategy to have physical branches

Capital base is different from valuation.

All big 5 banks -First Bank, Access Bank, UBA, Guaranty Trust Bank and Zenith Bank- all have market capitalisation of at least N1 Trillion each.

UBA declared 404billion profit last year alone.
Moreover, opay’s valuation is not 100% reliable like banks that we can all see their records on the stock exchange.

Honestly civil and public servants that do these things need to be flogged and castrated on live TV.

How can you sign away 15% of public funds to a private intermediary firm as collection fee?

Lagos is obviously home to criminals

How is Lagos the most dangerous place to live on earth?? You are obviously delusional. And you have no idea what dangerous living means.
