Guys I recently got a Redmi note 10s (I didn't find the 10pro in the market so I settled for 10s). The phone has been okay so far but I notice it stops charging intermittently.
Like when charging, it stops for like one second and immediately resumes turbo charging again. This happens randomly a couple of time before full charge.
Does anyone know the cause of this?

This is a CBN directive and the customers also agreed to it by signing a declaration prior to collecting the PTA.

Your bank might not be able to stop those recurrent 30k debits. They can only disable all online payments on that card. So you probably have to disable e-payments on the card.

The CBN is struggling to meet forex demands of businesses.

Many large companies are still buying forex inflows at N515/USD and it'll continue to be this bad mainly because of our reduced foreign income and huge foreign loan repayment expenses.

We spend too much on importation and the country doesn't make that much forex anymore so there's pressure on the little dollars in circulation.

Same reason why CBN is luring our abroad brothers to send us dollars and they give us extra 5naira/USD incentive

Wire transfers is directly from sender's bank account to beneficiary bank through their correspondence bank

There is always offshore charge for wire transfers.

Usually, the sender bears the charge. I'm guessing this particular sender opted that the "beneficiary bears offshore charge", thus you were charged.

It has always been 25usd.
Next time, ask questions or you use Western Union to receive your money

Why would I leave my money idle in the bank at the risk of inflation and very little interest when I can secure it's value with USDT or buy digital assets that will increase it's value...just wait till adoption becomes massive.

I am not rooting for banks neither am I against the new norm of digital currency and technology. My earlier talk is on the role of traditional banks in corporate businesses and trade financing. For many reasons, these functions cannot be handled by fintechs, at least not yet.
Also, the country encourages them and give us little or no options than to run certain transactions thru these banks.
