Not the most politically correct statement to make, but the truth is that the SOUTH WEST and the NORTH have been misruling Nigeria since July 29 1966 in the worst way possible. They like to make it look like Nigeria is a collective failure of all regions, but no! Some people wrecked this thing. From that date till today, Nigeria has generated trillions of dollars both from oil and other sources of revenue. They have had everything they would have needed to build a prosperous nation, but what do we have here? A gigantic embarrassment.

From 1970, there has been relative peace across the land untill Boko Haram reared its ugly heads mainly because of illiteracy and hunger. Lots of Nigerian professionals are scattered all over the world, and are willing to come home and help, we have arable land for agriculture etc. We have everything not to struggle so hard in life as a nation, but the political class of this two regions decided to work for neo colonialists and foreign powers, than for their people.
Its crazy. Take away Jonathan's few years in power, it has been this two alternating seemslessly, handing over the baton to each other, while the rest sits back and watch. But when they fail, they want to share the blame around.

Basically, these two regions have flagrantly mismanaged our lives and left Nigeria to be nothing but a monument to corruption and maladministration. A country that could easily have been the biggest hope of the black race, is now the biggest shame. The north and the southwest owe not just Nigerians and Africans a serious apology for their disgraceful displays while in power, they also owe the whole black race an explanation as to why they decided to turn a whole generation of black people upside down, and made them the butt of all sorts of unsavoury jokes worldwide.

Every tribe is responsible for present Nigeria's woes. The igbos have ruled this nation 3 times through Nnamdi Azikwe, Agunyi Ironsi, and Goodluck Jonathan. Yorubas too through Obasanjo, Sonekan and currently Tinubu. The first five names I mentioned were former Nigeria's presidents from the south and have also contributed to the current challenges. Two from the yorubas you are disparaging and 3 from Igbo. Forget the story that Jonathan is an Ijaw man, his tenure was dominated by the igbos. He typically handed it over to them and they did nothing to change Nigeria's fortune. And thats why they are the most pained tribe today over Jonathan ousting by Bola Tinubu bcs the man removed their hands from national treasury and igbos will never forgive Tinubu for that. Most of the PDP's 16 wasteful years were dominated by Igbos serving as ministers of key sectors like Finance and supervising minister of economy, Works, Transportation, Power and energy, Science and technology, Education, Trade etc and there were no tangible impacts other than senseless looting, corruption, mismanagement, and debt accumulations. All tribes have served under one regime or the other with nothing to show that they are better handlers. They all have one thing in common: looting and cluelessness. It is not in the number of time a tribe has chance to be president that will determine how better handlers they are. The little time they have held sway, what did they do? The portfolios given to them to handle, what did they do with it differently. What difference did they make? The igbos by the assessments of their little roles in the management of Nigeria are even worse. So who will give them more responsibilities? Let the third Yoruba man too complete his tenure before u conclude they are not better handlers....
