I know the opinions expressed in an online forum like this is not the true representation of things. If we are to survive and flourish as a people we must stop hating and spreading hatred. The Igbos and Yorubas have many things in common. Though politically both tribes may appear to be rivals. But that is where it stops. There are more inter marriages between the two tribes than with any other tribe in Nigeria. They have lived together and been interacting in all facets of life without problems. The youths of both tribes must not allow hatred fanned by bitterness sown by the politicians to divide them. If that happens, you will be the loser as the politicians will be the gainer. Both tribes, and in fact, all regions in the country are facing similar socio-economic problems caused by bad leadership. Until the youths start to rise up irrespective of ethnicity and religion affiliation and demand accountability and responsible leadership from our leaders, we are not going to make any meaningful progress as a nation. We must focus more on things that can bind us together rather than those things that will divide us. We must stop calling for war. War will not be beneficial to our progress at this time. However, we must defend our land and people from murderous elements. That is crucial to our survival as a people. God bless

The Bible is indisputably the inspired word of God. Looking for the supposed mistakes or errors will simply make us to overlook and miss the central points and truths therein. The Bible is not just a book but a collection of books written by different authors. The events recorded spanned through decades. The writers may not have written in order for the books to serve as religious materials. Some simply wrote to record events. Others wrote to share and admonish from vast personal experiences. In Gods unsearchable wisdom, the books later got compiled to become the Bible. Perspectives of writers do differ. Accounts of events may differ depending on the sources of information and disposition of the writer. Some writers may even lean on already written works. We see this in some portions of the Bible. Some writers do further research into books that are already in existence in order to shed more light on subjects or themes.
The supposed errors or contradictions actually heightens the authenticity of the Bible rather than diminish it. The Bible comes to you as an unedited work. It is not just a product of human literary skill but an inspired work.
If you study the Bible in order to find the errors. You will see errors based on your interpretation and misjudgement. This will be of no spiritual benefit to you. If you read the Bible with the purpose of finding the truth and applying to your life situations, you will be blessed and turn out better. The Bible truly says the letter kills but the Spirit gives life.
While I will not support or promote spiritual gullibility, I will enjoin individuals to search for the Truth with open mind. The central theme of the Bible remains the salvation to mankind offered through Jesus Christ. It is for you to either accept or reject. This is a personal choice. You can only be advised and admonished. Nobody should be forced or coaxed. You have to find God and experience Him by yourself. Surely, your destiny is in your own hands. I rest my pen.

Jesus is God. The Bible is very clear on this. You have to believe the Bible to understand this. In Isaiah 9: 6 quoted above, the baby Jesus foretold to be born is the mighty God and not "mighty god". He is also to be everlasting Father and not "everlasting father". Check your Bible. This claim is asserted by Jesus Himself in Revelation 1:8. "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
