Hello, any mamas who did their baby’s hearing test independently in Houston? Was offered one by the Pediatrix Group at the hospital and I declined because I once saw posts here about how they bill you ridiculous amounts/hidden bills so I didn’t want to take a chance

there are number of concierge services in Houston one of which is Soulcare Concierge, look her up on IG for contact.
Also could you share at what week you got into Houston, what airport and if you had any challange at the entry point
I actually reached out to them I saw their card in the Drs office but they never responded to the email and their phone just goes unanswered.

I was 28 weeks when I arrived because I wanted to be in the US before Trump’s inauguration. My POE was Los Angeles and there were no challenges I was asked how long I’d be staying, reason (I was honest about the pregnancy) and the officer asked for the letter from my Dr here in the US and that was it.

Hello mamas

Anyone in Houston and know of some kind of postpartum/newborn helper or a platform I can use? I’ll be giving birth soon and unfortunately my support system can no longer come to the US so I’m alone and will be a first time mom. If there’s anyone alone too I’d love to hear how you’ll be going about it. Thank you

Hi, did you end up having your baby at Oakland? If so, how was the overall experience I’m considering it but most reviews were from long ago around the bill issue that they record you as having not paid everything to claim money from gov..

hello, really hoping I can find someone with a recent experience of giving birth in the US maybe 2022/23. I’m a South African married to a Nigerian man and we’d like to give birth in the US. What happens if you already have a visa valid for 10 years but haven’t travelled yet, then decide to use it for childbirth later. I’ve read threads talking about changing intent again? Do they really let you go through POE despite stating you’re there for child birth? It seems like a nerve wracking experience would love to hear from someone who has recently given birth there recently thank you 🙏🏽
