Metuh never fell sick for a day through out the period when PDP was in power. He served as legal adviser of PDP in Anambra state, national vice chairman south east and national publicity secretary for about 8 years cumulatively without calling in sick for a day.

However, he has been sick since 2015 when his corruption trial started. The only time he was of good health since the trial started was late last year during PDP national convention. We all saw him fighting strong security operatives who tried to stop him from entering the VIP section of eagle square. He appeared in court some weeks later on stretcher.

Sadly, characters like Dino Melaye are now learning from Metuhs playbook. Hopefully, the gap in our law books that allows this kind of nonsense will be identified and fixed soonest. Nobody should be allowed to hide under the guise of sickness to avoid justice.

Where are civil society on this..

The mistake is allowing high profile accused freedom to health facilities of their choice is the issue.

It is high time we upgrade our prison hospitals such that they don't have any excuse.

I write to draw your consciousness to the prolonged legal proceedings between Chief Olisah Metuh and the Federal Government of Nigeria.

At the last count, this case has dragged for over three years and I wondered the lacuna which our administration of criminal justice act has created.

How I wish the act could be so amended such that where good evidences are tendered as exhibits, the accused is allowed to be remanded regardless of status.

Not until such amendments is allowed, the speed at which criminal cases are tried cannot be made fast.

How can Olisah Metuh be sick for over three years?.

Let's discuss.

It became obvious that all is still not well with the ruling APC due to wide spread parallel Congresses so held.

While I remain optimistic about the leader of BAT to breach this widely spread gap, it is pertinent to x-ray the forces behind these inadequacies.

Could this be a problem for PMB in short time to come?.

Nigeria political structure in recent time has been rattled with condemnation from concerned Nigerians more especially in the area of performance.

While few Concerned Nigerians are chanting the course and mounting pressure on the Government of the day, the Elites who have been mostly affected dominate the social media sponsoring publications and attacking the Government.

Core on their condemnation are;

1. Raising herdsmen attacks.
2. Growing rate of unemployment
3. Slow pace of infrastructural development etc.

While I agree with them on these areas of deficiency with the current administration, it is important for all to understand also the extent to which the government has gone in ensuring a secured future for all.

Let's not forget quickly that the Economy was highly troubled at inception of this administration. Obviously, NOI & GEJ deliberately distabilised the economy when it became obvious they were loosing reelection.

Imagine an Economy bastardized by NOI a supposed economic expert!.

While I enjoined all to be more patient. The fight against corruption by PMB irrespective of personality alone is guarantee graft continuity even beyond his administration. What this means is that we can all be assured of proper accountability with this administration.

Let's not be overwhelmed that most institutions were operating on falsehood prior to this administration and were all forced to embrace reality of status in the wake of non availability of free money.

Obviously, our Economy is growing but yet to translate into food on our direct tables.

While I enjoined is to be more patient and understanding with this administration, let me say that second coming of PMB is the only best thing that we so desired.

Nigerians can easily forget pains and that's why we could be gullible allowing past demons to want to influence our future.

The demons all served in various capacities at their time but failed woefully in all ramifications.

Let not be deceived PMB has done so well. He's doing fine and will continue to do well.

Resist Elites influence till we are matured enough to win an election for a more resourceful and energetic youth.
