After careful analysis and observation, it appears that south-west is the only secured zone among the six Geo-political zones in the country today. I'm of the opinion that the high rate of civilisation cum high aspirations among her dwellers could be few of the reasons for such spate of development and peaceful coexistence. How best can this peace and security be replicated in other zones such that people can start to appreciate human life and what it takes to nurture dreams. Could such be poverty level driven?. Could it......? |
The comment be say them go hit Niger-Delta region hard. Ask the Niger-Delta Govs., they are the most affected currently. Govt. go continually deduct derivation for repairs |
Pleading with the two elders not to engage in such for the sake of development. |
tit:Not really dear. It is a function of how the direct subjects respect the traditional institutions. |
judeprint:Disaster because he's refused to share national resources like una erstwhile educated thieves. We are waiting for BHT to come and provide situation report to u all on happening in Sambisa. |
xynerise:Which other way? |
firstking01:Funny u! |
Going by the beauties of this world couple with dreams and aspirations which we live with to become accomplished and fulfilled. I doubt if someone like me could take death as option in any given circumstances for my spouse. If any woman leaves me today, I will immediately take on another. I might be wrong anyway, Kindly enlighten me as love means all to many. |

With this development, I will going forward support total clamp down...Militarily. Quote me not. |
greenermodels:Ok. Never knew FFK is seeking public office... |
A clear case of PDP being behind... |
A clear case of POP being behind..... |
I have had to argue with colleagues on several occasions on what could probably be the reason, more especially Bayelsans and Deltans, naming kids names like: Goverment Governor President Helicopter Sovereignty Fridge Preegee Water e.t.c. Educate us please. |
This is height of cruelty to Human. A gentle man of his kind, lover of all, a cheerful giver and an officer with a promising career. May God almighty never allow all those responsible see peace in life. Tunji Bakare - aka Baba Olowo RIP. May almighty Allah console all you left behind and grant your parents the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Indeed a great loss to Lagos/Ikeja/Ojodu/our domain. LASG, it is important that those behind this act are brought to book to appease the spirit of a committed officer who served well. Hon. Tunji Bakare, till we meet and part no more.. |
Where are the elders of the land ![]() |
AfroMighty:I would rather we see beyond Yoruba's.. as someone already Posited that it's about prevention of regular flood which I don't see any logic in that. Do remember that this practice is the standard globally. |
I think it is beyond that. Let's do a little research further. cornoil: |
I have been confronted with this question many times without much scriptural or moral justification but observed that such practice seems universal. Please assist with verifiable reason(s) why such happens. |
My submission: In Lagos, Fashola means Quality and Ambode means quantity. If you're not there, give space. |
Having monitored moves and steps taken and to be taken by various stakeholders piloting different tiers of Government in Nigeria in reaction to the initiated fight against corruption by Buhari led administration. Can this fight ever be fought successfuly and what do we think would be the remain and destination of this initiative. |
I have a wedding scheduled for last Saturday in November this year at Ibadan by 10am and I am worried about enforcement stride by Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states. Why should inter-state travellers be affected by local laws? |
May your days be long Sir. |
Dear President, I'm writing as a concerned youth of this great country to you on this day hoping it gets to you in good state of mind and the requests thein are considered. Mr President, Nigeria is on the verge of total collapse with continued agitation from the niger-delta militants and various soft target attacks by boko-haram. The effect of these can however be seen on the huge decline on our national revenue and non-stop funding of war against insurgency. At this point Mr President, discussion with aggrieved stake holder is highly necessary and the better time is no other time than our independent day. Recall Mr President that 80% of looted fund by the previous administration came from statutory votes meant for war against insurgency. While the EFCC and other antigraft agencies are fully busy chasing around the corrupt and more monumental damage are being recorded daily, I would strongly implore you Sir to focus more on the root cause. It is however unfortunate Mr President that a developing nation like our could be comfortable spending billions annually on crime without any decisive legislation on how to completely solve the recurring political equations. Let's at this point retrace our steps and make quick adjustment as the future of this country is seriously at state. The below are areas that requires your immediate attention: 1. Establishment of micro finance bank in the Niger delta region to give loan to agitators on their core areas of endeavors and not the monthly stipend being dashed out. 2. Development of a workable roadmap on infrastructure developments in the Niger delta. 3. Full passage of PIB. 4. Harmonization of executive-legislature relationship as it were. 5. Negotiation with insurgents. 6. Declaration of free compulsory primary and secondary education in the north as illiteracy level largely influenced level of acceptability of book Haram ideology. 7. Having a roadmap on southeast VP candidate amongst others. While I continue to support your dreams and aspirations as a true leader, your quick practical consideration will be highly appreciated. My best regards, |

Indeed very distinguished Asiwaju Sen. Dr. Bola Ahmed TINUBU. |
Dear #IstandwithFayose, Public finance is far more than that. The loan PMB is processing is actually in form of counterpart funding. What Fayose is doing currently is like affecting the good platform being prepared by this current team. For the country to grow, we must close up gaps noticed within our infrastructure. Where was Fayose where Gej and croonnies were squandering our national resources even with oil boom. Please, receive comprehension. w |
I just bought fuel from two major stations on Isolo Road Mushin, Lagos state (G&G filling station and RA filling station) at 150 naira per litre. What a crime at broad day light!. Interestingly, these stations have been dispensing non-stop ever since the scarcity began without any law enforcement questioning them. Where is PPRA, PPMC, NNPC etc with all their deceptive contacts? Has someone ever explained to Nigerian the cause(s) of the current fuel scarcity confronting the nation? Should there not be heavy sanction against those exploiting the citizenry in the manner above? Can there not be a permanent fix to the recurring scarcity issue? Is Ibe Kachukwu a comedian on his core area of specialisation? @PMB, While I quite understood the complexities associated with governance especially on the subject matter, please, use your good office to stop exploitation and other criminal antics of the marketers. The situation should be no fuel at all and not price hike!!! |
I have had to severally imagine series of activities to preceed the projected rebuilding process in the Nort East as a result of wanton distruction of lives and properties by the dreaded Islamist Sect - Boko-Haram. I strongly suggest to the stakeholders to strongly consider deployment of IDPs to the direct and indirect labour force as I strongly believe this would create substantial economic leverage to these deprived citizen when finally back to their final place of abode. This to me is a strong opinion as I completely see no direct help being rendered to able-bodied individual by providing their basic daily need only without any potential of allowing them to personally create and generate wealth. An idle hand they say.... What is your take?t |
The most corrupt filing stations in my area ( Isolo Road ) Mushin currently dispense @#87.00. I think FG should involve the military in compliance and enforcement in the long-run. God Bless PMB |
What would be your reaction when you see Dasukigate in Santa Claus costume and fully loaded sacks on Christmas day on your street??. Be realistic please |
