thanks, but i noticed that dreamweaver hasa place in the sites(mange sites or new sites) where you enter ftp username, ftp password, ftp hostname. all these stuffs are provided by the host am trying to use(eu.pn). is that not a way through which dreamweaver is trying to replcate the function of smartftp?

do i still need smartftp download even with dreamweaver8? dont really understand dat concept. can someone pls explain ftp concept
