why do i visited links show like visited links even after refreshing the page(hover stops working once i click a link even after refreshing the page).

what can i do to stop it? even if i dont set the visited link property, it takes the browser default(purple)

@dual: dont really understand how to use the site. i pasted the link and it showed me download in 1 second. after that what else am i suppose to do? althoug i was now able to download it through IDM, but i dont know if it was through the site. would really love to know how to use the site, looks kool.
Also the file is rar, am suppose to extract, right? how else can i do that without installing a new software on my system(getting too much, make e no go crash!).

yeah get that, so in essence domain transfer is out of it, but why should one want to transfer a domain name cos i dont see the need for now.

the script for the "login with userame and password to the control panel" on a host's site is usually generated/written by the host,right? but the control panel does not reside on the host's site, right? it resides wth the parent company/server owners, right? so what the host does is to provide a sort of access for the end users to access the parent company's server,right?

yeah get that. every host has name server.so when you buy/register a domain name, you point it through the control panel of the registrar to your nameservers(i thik also called DNS).

what is now the difference between domain transfer and pointing to nameserver?

so as a host you must write a login script through which clients will log into the control panel provided by the parent host.

really get the concept. you will write your script and send it to google's server. right? so if there is an update it automatically detects it and update it without your interference. are updates carried out so often?

talking about speed,
if your server(server A) has the same speed as google's server(server B).
and your page takes 30 seconds to download( your page and script resides on your serverA).
if you were hosting with google(server B) (page and script), seem serverA ad serverB have
the same speed it means it will take 30 secs also to display the page(page and script now)
from server B,
ie since features of serverA=features of serverB, therefore download tine of serverA=download time of serverB

Question:if the page resides on serverA and the script resides on serverB,
will it now take less than 30sec to display everything, since its been shared?

is it that you just get the script from the reseller host, and copy paste into your page for stuffs like customer login etc

i would really love to know what knowledge is needed to be a web host. please dont discuss home servers, colocation, dedicated servers etc for now.
i want the discussion to be based on buying a reseller plan from someone else and of course setting up the website to sell the product. it is assumed that the skills needed in the creation of a basic (static) website has been acquired.

the discourse should take the following format: to set up a webhosting business, you will buy a reseller plan , get the software(how, which and maybe why ), and of course other stuff that need to be know like control panel, linux and windows , bandwidth, mysql and other stuff required in running it.

reference to other resources such as books, website to gather more knowledge would really help.
